I admit it while the recovery time from laparoscopic surgery is quicker, open surgery is the best bet for getting everything taken care of.

I admit it I finally opened a window here & it's still hotter outside than inside.

I admit it the cats are hiding until November.

I admit it I hope that she isn't breast feeding. I found out the hard way that apparently smoked salmon crosses into breast milk & will give a baby colic.

I admit it a photographer on my friends list on Fet just sent me the link to a classic car place in my home town.

I admit it I am going through the pictures & squealing like a bobby soxer at the sight of Bing Crosby!!

I admit it I could have a 1965 Lincoln Continental with fewer miles on it than my 2003 Kia for about 2/3 of what I paid for the Kia.

I admit it the only problem then is affording the gas.

I admit it I hate when reality intrudes on a fantasy!!

I admit it I am calling my Uncle Sandy Claus tomorrow & telling him about this place & then I'm planning a trip to Tacoma.

I admit it I just wanna drool on the cars a little.

I admit, speaking of babies, that my friend who I loaned all my baby girl clothes to accidentally dropped them off at Goodwill.  I'm heartbroken - I spent years collecting them, one piece at a time.

Status: offline 		thanks fox, i did a quick scroogle and couldn't find any definitive list, and they said much of what you said. honestly, way back in the day we ate what we wanted and didn't have to avoid this that and the other. my kids came out healthy and hearty. now there's massive lists of don't's and vague threats of child abuse if you dare to infringe. i drank a glass of red a day when my oldest was teething and i was breastfeeding. i was more relaxed and she slept better

same with SIDS. the current thinking is EXACTLY opposite to what we were told.

hard to believe millions of babies have managed to get born and survive over the earth's history, eh?

Status: offline 		I had no idea that smoked salmon could do that; it wasn't on any list that I ever saw. So when my mother came to "help" me with the new baby, she brought several cans of salmon my uncle had caught & smoked & canned. I fed the baby & put her down to sleep & Mom & I had a smoked salmon orgy. Chelsea woke up, I fed her put her down again & about an hour later she woke up screaming with colic. She was miserable for at least 18 hours. Mom & I took turns sleeping & holding her & walking her. When it finally eased up, we all 3 went to sleep. When she woke me up a few hours later, I brought her out to the living room & there was my mother packing! I asked what she was doing & she told me she was going home because, "I can't get any rest around here!!!" Yep, that was my mom.

I admit it perhaps it was the huge amount that I ate or maybe it was the English muffins or maybe it was the particular wood they used to smoke it. Who knows??

I admit it I really really hope that she can have her smoked salmon because life without smoked salmon is hardly worth living, IMO.

I admit it due to my caffeine ingestion earlier, I think I probably won't go to sleep til maybe Thursday.

I admit it that's ok with me. In the words of Mary J. Blige, "I feel too damn good!!!"

I admit it is getting kinda heavy with the hawt domly dood. *shivers*

I admit it I never loan anything that I cannot live without & remember, Fox, you can start another collection & it will be an even better one!!


ETA: My daughter is only a couple of years younger than you, Angel. We really knew little back then & I think it may have been better.

Status: offline 		i think it might have been too, linnaea, i didn't smoke, i drank in moderation and i ate in moderation and had strawberry shakes so often in the beginning of my first pregnancy that i had a strawberry blonde for the first one! can't think what i ate for the 2nd, but she came out coppery

kidlet mostly adores the vy thinly sliced commercial smoked salmon (pricey on her budget) and the salmon in sushi, so hopefully not enough to start an orgy, lol

i admit, i think it's mostly the "you can't have them" that makes her want them so much right now

Status: offline 		I admit that I was all about moderation during my pregnancy with Pup, too.  I drank a little, ate some deli sandwiches, had sushi when I was in the mood, and generally was chill about the do's and don'ts.  I've carried on the same way raising him.  I intend to do exactly the same with the second (and maybe third).

I admit I'm way ahead of you, Linnie, with the new baby collection.  So many adorable clothes, so little time to buy them!

I admit I'm sending sleepy vibes in Lilly's direction.

Linnie, I admit there was a classic car show down the road from me recently, and I thought I had died and gone to paradise.  Especially when I discovered my most favoritest car of all time there.  Someday I'll buy something awesome, just so I can take it out of the garage on nice days and wash it.

I admit it I used to drive a lot of those old classic cars & owned quite a few too. Course they weren't classics back then; they were just used cars.

I admit it when I was a teenager & all the other girls were into makeup & boys, I was into the boys' cars.

I admit it the first time I had sex in the backseat of a car, it was a 57 Chevy painted candy apple green.

I admit it I loved the car, but the guy was so-so.

I admit if I would have dropped it off accidentially I would go back and try to retrieve it....

I admit I am not familiar with Goodwill, so that might not necessarily be an option
