I admit that if that D type really really doesn't get it and soon, I can send you my stupid stick Charne and you can give him a good whack upside the head. That usually knocks some sense into the douchecanoes.

I admit I have to leave tomorrow, P does after all have things to do. Gonna be a loooooooooooooooooong ride home, can't sit for more than 5 minutes. Methinks 4 hrs might just turn into 10 or 12.

I admit I can't get zonked on painkillers, I do have to drive between the lines on the highway. They tend to frown on you driving down the center of 2 lanes.

I admit I still haven't told my dad I'm here, dad of the "everyone on the internet is a serial killer or a mass murderer" sort.

Which also means he doesn't know that OOPSIE I go boom again and this time, finally, after all these years, broke something. And can't even put a cast on it. Always wanted a cast. Don't know how much plaster it'd take to cover my *ahem* behindular area.

I admit I once told him "well then I guess that makes me one too. Left him speechless for the first time in a long time and me looking at him o so innocently. And yes, before the comments from the Peanut gallery start pouring in, I can look innocent. Doesn't mean I am, but I can look it. *nod*nod*

I admit that I'm so proud of my oldest grandum!

I admit that a coach from a private school in DC came to watch him play on Sat & approached my son-in-law about my grandum playing for the school on a full scholarship.

I admit that my grandum is also in advanced classes at his current scool so this is an incredible opportunity in both academics & sports.

I admit that my lovely neighbor gave me a new monitor for my office workstation, and it's one of those bigger rectangular ones. Sigh. NOT overjoyed, not one bit. It's nice, but bigger screen = SMALLER PRINT in most applications! So there is much tweaking in my future. Sad face. It's nice that he gave me the monitor though, now all three workstations will have flat screens, since I had one in the basement from our prior computer. The stations look SO much more open without those enormous monitors w/picture tubes!

I admit that I am ready for my nap. RIGHT NOW. This is a deadline day, though, so no napping until the evening for Little Me!

I admit that my boss also decided I needed a bigger widescreen monitor for work.

I admit I spent an hour modifying the display settings so I can read the damn thing (Lady Hibiscus, If you're on Windows XP, go to the Display Settings where you change the screen resolution, click on advanced and adjust the DPI setting to Large, combine that with setting the text to large on the Appearance and it's just about workable...not sure if the newer Windows versions work the same way though...)

I admit I also lubs that I'm assigned to do the social pedagogue job within that house, which is a similar job to my degree, which means that I'm not just working within that house, as it would be with my 2nd qualifikation with which I got hired, but also a lot within the writing department, doing all sorts of reports and communication with all the participants within those processes, which gives me a nice change at work

Thanks, SoulAlloy, I only did half of those steps! I am getting used to the monitor, but really, I fail to see the allure of these giant screens unless the PRINT IS BIGGER. I shouldnt have to fuss to get something I can read.

b/c this one goes black every now and than.. it is irritating
I admit, I can buy a used one so I will look at several 2ndhand sites and go into the city.
I admit, I do not have a clue, for a brand, which one is good, better or best.

I admit, I did have Philips once, but those f*** screens gave up after only 3 yrs...

so I will not buy it again.

I admit I colored my hair today (to a medium brownish color.. but there is STILL a pink undertone, dammit!!)

I admit, Charne, that I have a Dell flat panel monitor I have now had (second hand) for about 4 yrs, and it is still going strong...
