I admit that's cause I dare to follow dads advice to ask boss to place me into a different house, even when I know (judging from previous employers) that this isn't a move appreciated by every boss...

I admit I never felt that need of action before, but know from colleagues in the past who received at times misery for daring to do so...

I admit I have nothing to lose as we have a national shortage in my profession anyway, so if he doesnt place me in a different house, then I'll soon be resigning anyway...so it doesn't really matter to me, if he accepts to move me or sacks me as alternative

I admit I'm curious about what will follow but ready for it

I admit my boss tried to put me into work tomorrow after 12 o'clock but I was having none of it, as she had written in the rota that I'm working from 9-12 tomorrow and just because a colleague took time off, doesn't mean that I have to change my plans

I admit, normally I'm very flexible in such situations, but in this house I'm more than happy to make an exception

I admit I also haz a mega happiez that I can bring laughter to MrP!! YAY ME!!

I admit I haz a dilemma regarding a gift I have received from someone I don't know well. It's a gift that I can TOTALLY use, but I don't know the giver very well at all.. and it's kinda awkward. Two reasons: (a) I DONT know him well.. I mean, first name, he has cats, and that's about it; and (b) there is the cynical inner voice thinking "and what does HE expect to get out of this?"

I don't want to refuse it outright, because he seems to be a nice guy. and I don't want to NOT use it because it obviously cost some bucks!

On the other hand, I have no way to reciprocate (other than doing something minor, like making pilssbury sugar cookies or something), and I would feel even MORE awkward if I didn't do SOMETHING!

HELP!!!

I have a moral(?) quandry here.. I KNOW I cannot BEGIN to come up with a gift that is equal in monetary value, and really? Pillsbury cookies? and I KNOW he aint getting anything my cynical mind wants to say he is after...

it's just odd.. like I said.. I hardly know this man (I only got his surname off of the certificate, as "compliments of...).

My guess is he might have some sort of connection to the chiro or it might have been one of those Groupon specials type of things, I wouldn't fret about it too much.

Cookies are a perfectly acceptable return.
