i admit i haven't been in the forums much lately

i admit i got a surprize phone call from a good friend i met here a year ago

i admit i will be going to bed and dreaming sweet dreams tonight, we had some laughs. it was like we'd just talked yesterday, not six months ago

i admit to some nervousness, he's going to be deployed this fall and while he's not in a heavy combat unit, they shoot at support units too.

i admit i'm holding him to his promise to come home safe.

I admit that we got the kids this weekend. This includes Puddles...err, I mean Duchess the basset hound.

I admit that the thunder woke me up this morning.

I admit that I got the core ball hidden from the kids. Its a miracle it fits in the closet with all of the yarn and clothes.

I admit that I am not really happy babysitting the kids. That means I have to share the desk and that is where I do all of my work, even crocheting.

I admit that I had a little binge at DBNY.com but it was all BOOKS not yarn. The Artful Ribbon, by Candace Kling, for my collection, and a bunch of cheap Colinette books. Colinette patterns actually suck deeply but I like the photos.

I admit that I am so looking forward to off season hours!! Though in my mind, I am checked OUT. Which is awesome, and sad, since I will need to prolly check in tomorrow to Do Stuff . Whoops!! lalalallaa

I admit I went to bed at 8:3am post night duty and have just woken up now (5:30pm). Turned my alarm off in my sleep. No Skypes or chatting with Odeen.

I admit I have to give myself shots now to (hopefully) get rid of the "must stay close to the bathroom" problems.

I admit if the methotrexate doesn't work, I'll have to look at things like Enbrel, which are spooky.

I admit I'm tired of being the perfect patient.

I admit that a close friend with ghastly psoriasis (and psioratic arthritis) has had tremendously good luck on the Enbrel. ~~beamage for Thorny~~

I admit that after some xanax and a night's sleep I am still messed up but "better". I want to start a discussion thread, but I have nowhere to do it, and even talking is triggery.

I admit SHE'S HERE!!!!!!

I admit that this term is starting off on a bad foot because of her timing but i couldnt have loved it more.

I admit that i had emergency Csection and was told that i will have to have the second one c section with out choice because i just barely managed to make it with her before i hit a point that would have caused me to lose her :(.

I admit that i had internal reconstructive cervix surgery after her delivery because of how she was laying and got stuck.

I admit she is healthy and all.

I admit Sweetpea, forget Parcheesi you'll be ready for checkers.

I admit surgery was done on Thurs, I was home in less than 6 hrs. I didn't have general anesthetic, problems with my blood sugar being too high. 19 when it should have been between 4 & 7, gave me 2 metformin, brought it down to 18.2. They weren't sure if they were going to do it, and came close to giving me a shot of insulin but then there was the danger of my sugar going too low. So they decided to proceed.

The anesthesiologist was able to talk me into getting an epidural, took 2 of them to talk me into it, and going with the sedation. They were right, it hurt more to have the needle in the hand than the epidural. Doc holding me in place told me my legs would feel warm and it wasn't him peeing on me. I told him if he was gonna pee on me, he'd better turn around cuz I was gonna pee right back on him.

I've been crampy since then, and still bleeding lightly, really tired too, but I'm recovering and doing well.

I admit they wouldn't let me leave til I could pee, but dammit I hadn't had anything to drink since midnight, it was now about 3pm and I was dry. So they decided to start the saline solution and within 10 minutes I was outta there. Told me to leave and that was it. No signing out, no trip down to the exit by wheelchair, didn't even call a cab, just told me where the phones were for the cab companies. Yeah, I was impressed by that.
