ORIGINAL: littlewonder I admit I abhor female doctors. ggggrrr I admit at least I got something to feel somewhat better until I can get an endoscopy in about two weeks. I admit, how did I go to being healthy, then as soon as I hit 40, I now feel as if I have every illness known to man? It's a frustrating and blind-siding phenomena for some of us. You go around healthy as a horse, able to work 3 people under the table for decades, and then at a certain age, CRASH, BAM, BOOM, physically you hit a bloody wall and s**t starts happening. It sure took me by surprise. The only thing I can suggest is the better you take care of yourself from here on in, with any kind of luck, it will contribute to delaying some crashes down the line. They don't say, "Old age ain't for sissies," for nothing. I suspect, among other things, genetics plays quite a part. Hell, the first 40+ years, physically, I was the strongest and toughest in my family...stronger than a bear. Not anymore. Good luck with whatever you're going through, dearie.
