I would love to know who that staff member is, because, while true, that some posters do not get along, if that person is a member of the Collarme team, and if there is ever a hint of a moderator has had any posting history back and forth heatedly at any point in the past, that moderator does not touch that poster. As to the CM team moderators discussing who we "like and dont like", that is not true, at the very least, it is NOT a conversation I have ever been a part of, witnessed, and damn sure would NEVER condone. It appears as if you two were chatting as friends, so although I will offer my cmail for you to let me know who it is so I can investigate, I understand if I do not get a mail from you. I will UNEQUIVOCALLY state that is not an accepted practice of the Collarme Team, and is something that if I catch one of my moderators doing, would be cause for immediate cessation of moderation duties.



i admit Alpha that i was actually talking about my own work place. i have no idea who any of the mods are here, and certainly do not speak to any of them that i am awear of.

i admit that your assumption speaks volumes though.

please note that i said 'when talking to a member of staff.......discussing another member...of staff' not members of this site, or anyone working for the site.

seriously, were i to be discussing anything of the sort with a moderator....were i to be that sort of person.......i would not be so crass as to then post about it in a public forum. it's not exactly good form of a 'friend' is it.

My apologies. I actually misread and thought you meant a member of the site was being discussed by a moderator , and both subjects (whether about a mod or a member) are totally unbelievable/incomprehensible to me about staff which is why I said what I said. I have never had that accusation made before, and with the lateness of the hour, again, my apologies, with reading it after posting on and reading the NO moderation thread I misread and thought you were talking about the site and saying that about a moderator here.

I admit that there is so much bitching about moderation going on lately that it makes me want to not bother reading and posting to threads.

I have received many gold letters, they have always been polite, and I have been moderated once, but when I made the post I knew it would happen. It was worth it to tell a certain poster exactly what I thought of him.

If I feel that passionately about something else, I will post it and, like every other action in my life, I will own the consequences for my actions, but sitting and constantly bitching about what might happen, TO ME, is silly.

If you feel strongly, post your thoughts. If they are off topic, so what. If they piss the mods off, so what. Own who you are and your thoughts.

If you are willing to leave because of what you believe MIGHT happen, be willing to be thrown off or moderated because of something you feel strongly enough to say damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.

Or, just continue to bitch and whine in public, rather in private to the mod staff, and when this site dies because it has become a bitch and whine fest, you can blame it on the heavy handed moderation.
