i admit that i am settling down well after 12am, but that i am up again by 5am at the latest as i can't stay settled. i admit that as an insomniac with nerve damage this is proving to be a big issue as i'm not getting enough rest. i admit that i get very little sleep anyway so you'd think that getting a little last night would be a good thing. i admit however that waking from a dream of how things are wanted to what is reality is a real bitch. i admit i'd like to kick that bitch in the cunt.

i admit that it's really freezing here, but it's another lovely clear day.

i admit hugs to those that need them, positive energies for those with illness of any sort, and stay safe vibes for Ash.

I admit I had to take the car to the garage this morning for some work and it's turned out to be 3 times more expensive than I hoped :(

I admit Jade's leg is still very much broken. The surgery failed completely. The rod they put in to hold his bones together has backed out 3/4 of the way in just a few weeks. The surgeon I spoke to this afternoon about it said that the aftercare instructions of how to give his meds and nothing else was a complete failure on their part and I should consider asking for my money back. I know they won't give it to me, I would have to sue for it and I'm not sure I have the energy especially when their argument is going to be "no garuntees blah blah". The fact that the lack of aftercare instructions is most likely the reason the surgery failed isn't relevant.
Both the new surgeon AND my regular vet have now told me that it may just be best to let him live with it broken. He is 18 years old and another bout of surgery might kill him especially since he is still underweight. Just like an amputee animal, he will learn how to make it "work" for him. It makes me extremely sad that there really isn't anything further I can do for him. It's not neccessary to euthenize him, he isn't in any pain but it sucks that his leg is no longer really functional. Fortunately, he is no longer going outside, he eats like a miniature horse and he is able to use his litter box and when he wants attention he tells me...which gets him picked up and loved on frequently, but it still sucks. The mommy in me wants so badly to be able to fix it.

I admit Mr's new work hours are taking a real toll on both of us. Neither of us is getting much sleep at night, but not for lack of trying...we both went to bed before 10 last night and actually tried to go to sleep. He fell asleep only to sleep too lightly for it to be restful, and I wasn't able to even fall asleep until after 1 in the morning, after which I also slept too lgihtly to really get any rest. This has been going on since His hours changed and we are both a little cranky. I am hoping that we can settle into at least the new sleep schedule pretty soon.

I admit I' really friggin tired and I wish the shorty would finish his evening chores so I could go the fuck to bed.

I admit I took my first test for my math class for this semester. I think I did ok.
I admit I did all my math homework for the month of March so I don't have to worry about that class anytime soon.
I admit this now gives me time to concentrate on my other classes and practicing some computer stuff for my new work.
