i admit that I am on my way home from Alaska.

i admit that I have a middle of the night 6 hour layover in the Seattle airport.

i admit that I am using their free WiFi.

i admit that...of course I am knitting, too.

LadyPact -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/25/2013 9:02:28 AM)

I admit I wish fluffy's family was closer to My location in this state so I could get an opportunity to meet her.

I admit most flights out of here are at ridiculous times. Taking somebody to the airport is often a middle of the night (1:00 AM - 4:00AM) adventure. Long lay overs at Sea-Tac are par for the course.

I admit the neighbor's puppy was waiting for Me on the back steps this morning. I think he really enjoyed playing "make neighbor lady put doggie back over the fence" repeatedly yesterday and was hoping the game would continue today.

I admit, you have livein subs dontcha? Breakfast in bed sounds like a good idea.

LittleGirlHeart -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/25/2013 1:01:27 PM)

I admit I suggested a fondue and cheese night at the Melting pot. I suggested it on two groups and over 36 people 9 from 1 group and 11 from another group said they would come.

I am gobsmacked, I never expected so many people to be interested in something I suggested, usually my suggestions never get much responce if any.

LadyPact -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/25/2013 5:16:01 PM)

I admit I don't know why I find this funny but I do.

I admit MP figured out a way to get the neighbor's puppy from wiggling through the fence. It involved four tires stacked on top of one another. It's like a puppy barricade. The puppy's not thrilled about it and hasn't quite figured out to get over, under, or through them.

I admit between the puppy and the older dog that I nicknamed Yapper, the pair are becoming quite the escape artists.

I admit that kittens are being born tonight. The mamma kitty I took from bo's yard ................

I admit I'm curious how the kitties are doing. I admit I narrowly escaped collecting a kitty myself today.

Congrats on your narrow escape. [;)]

Mamma kitty is now named Serena (after that cartoon Sailor Moon, the girl who was forced to step into an adult role way before her time. Mamma kitty became a mother during her very first heat cycle as a gawky tween and had been cranking kittens out ever since).

Serena had five babies and they are all doing well. Limiting her to a bedroom, giving her kitten chow, lots of water, 1-2 cans of catfood per day, some cooked meat (diced chicken breast, sliced pork roast, steamed cod fish, some chicken liver) to snack on once or twice per day, and a kitty vitamin pill (it has brewer's yeast to help bring in her milk stronger, a problem she's had in the past) is helping her to recover nicely. We go into the room to love her up two or three times per day, and when my son goes up to his room to go to sleep, she gets to cuddle up with him in his bed. She's a very loving animal and I cannot wait until the time comes when I can have her fixed. If I cannot find her a good home I'll have to keep her. Oh, she has transitioned just fine from being a strictly outdoor cat and is using the litter box every time.

The babies are nice and plump and show no signs of dehydration. Looks like I won't be needing to use those kitten bottles and kitten formula to supplement their momma's milk. I won't be needing to use the dehydrated goat's milk either, yay. I thought there was a sixth kitten up there but it was just her organs drifting back down forming a kitten sized firm lump; I'm so glad I was faked out, five is plenty enough to find homes for.

When I went to pick up my mom, she had forgotten to bring her camera. After I go to bo's and return home, I'll borrow her camera (it has a chip thingy) and will upload pix. One of the women at the vet's office wants to post a pic on their board now, letting people know that these babies will be available in about eight weeks for adoption.

Serena is a Burmese mix with tortoiseshell coloring. Two of her new babies are like her, one is all black, one is pure orange tabby, and another one is all white and will probably end up being a red point like it's two older brothers. These brothers...their tails are starting to color up with orange tabby tiger stripes, lol, too cute, I've never seen anything like it.

Of her previous batch, two of her kittens had medium length fur and one had long fur. The girl kitten my mother adopted had her spaying done yesterday and mom said that the vet was so good...that the surgical incision was only as long as a human bellybutton. We were used to seeing three inch cuttings with fugly stitches, not this lovely one inch work with surgical glue. (One down, two brothers left to go, lol, they're getting neutered early next month, after I get paid.)

****now to stop derailing this thread, lol****

I admit that yesterday was awful.

I admit that the heatwave broke finally, if only for a day, and it was wonderful to feel cool air on my skin instead of feeling like I've been tossed into a brick oven.

I admit that this would be a good day for spring cleaning but...I'm going to kick back and relax instead. (And play Pokemon Rumble Blast on my Nintendo 3DS until my fingers spaz up and go numb.)

i admit that my body is still on Alaska time. It's almost midnight here at home, but I'm only a little tired.

i admit that I have only a year left to visit my daughter's family in Alaska and get to points North.

i admit that we just found out where they are going next.

I admit, knowing me, I'd probably just take them into my home and keep them.

Well, I'd want to, anyway. Mister would have something to say about that. [:)]

I admit work is just stupidly busy and I'm working a lot of overtime and trying to deal with challenging personalities.

I admit tomorrow I start working at 6AM, then off to an 8AM breakfast meeting, back to the office all day, then a waxing appointment at 5, meeting some friends for a glass of wine around 6, then across town for a girls night with my cousin who is visiting from Spain.

I admit Girl Child is living with her boyfriend now, and still doing dumb stuff. I admit...sigh.

I admit I should probably go to bed pretty soon.

Phoenixpower -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/25/2013 10:26:48 PM)

I admit my honey surprised me yesterday with bringing home two types of salad as well as another light meal...

I admit I was happy like a kid in a candy store cause I never expected him to bring home salad...

I admit that is cause we went way too often to Mc Donalds in recent months[&:]

I admit I very damn love that guy[:)][:)][:)]

Thaz -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/26/2013 3:23:42 PM)

I admit a vicious pleasure in speaking to a newbie local sub. She had a online 'master' who had been texting her for months but no action.
She spoke to me. Looked at events I sent her links to. Spotted a friend she knew from real life' spoke to her. Friend advised I am the real deal and her 'master' is a fake. Dumped online master and we're meeting next week to get her to a Munch and to parties. Hurrrrah.

MUHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Shininglight23 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/26/2013 4:33:09 PM)

I admit... I'm glad the work week is over.

I admit... This has been a rough week for me.

I admit... I'm looking forward to some adult beverages this evening. :)

I admit... I'm also looking forward to a party that I'm having tomorrow!

I admit... I'm going to clean one more room in my house...and then...bring on the long island iced teas!

I admit... Hugs for Ash and good thoughts for everyone else.

Allie

Hillwilliam -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/26/2013 6:15:02 PM)

I admit the old bloodhound might not make it thru the weekend.

Shininglight23 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/26/2013 7:37:31 PM)

Hilly--I'm really sorry to hear that.

Allie

LadyPact -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/26/2013 8:56:27 PM)

I admit, Hill, I'm really sorry to hear that.

I admit that MP and I both spaced 'mandatory fun' today, so we didn't head out until 10:30 AM.

(For those that don't know, 'mandatory fun' is what they call company play time that you have to attend, rather than go to the office.)

I admit we had a pretty good time, ate well at the bbq, and did some mingling.

I admit I had a blast talking with Rxxx (MP's boss) and we both finally put a face to the communications. Really nice guy.

I admit there was volleyball, laughs, and great scenery.

I admit, I don't do most company sponsored stuff, but I had a really good time.

Duskypearls -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/26/2013 11:21:30 PM)

Oh honey, my heart goes out to you both.

How can I help, Hilly?

NuevaVida -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/26/2013 11:48:17 PM)

I admit, I'm really sorry to hear about the pooch, Hilly. Sending best wishes.

I admit today was a whirlwind. Started work at 6AM, then off to an 8AM breakfast meeting, worked straight through till 3:30, then off to visit with a friend who needed a friend, then to my wax appointment, then out with my cousin (who is visiting from Spain) and the girls.

I admit tomorrow I work at 6AM again. It's "Go-Live" weekend and we work the Command Center.

garyFLR -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/27/2013 5:04:57 AM)

I'm very sorry Hill. My thoughts are with you.

Hillwilliam -> RE: I Admit It I........ (7/27/2013 6:28:19 AM)

I admit the old bloodhound is gone.
She declined fast between yesterday and this morning. I helped (carried) her out to do her business this morning. When I got back in, I went to call the vet. She must have heard me because she died while I was on the phone and she never liked going to the vet anyway.
I loaded her into the car to go to the crematorium and figured "Bluesville" on Satellite radio was appropriate for her last ride.
I got back into the car after dropping her off and it started raining and "The sky is crying" played.
I admit even God is sad when a bloodhound dies.
