I admit that I am sipping whiskey, chatting online with a friend, and awaiting a visit from another friend. I admit that this would be pleasant for me, if it weren't for the very nagging undercurrent that has been running through my mind since my girl and I split up. Keeping time with friends prevents me from dwelling too much. I admit that I think about her often, miss her, and hope that she's having a few moments of happiness. I admit that others are probably having more fun than I am tonight, and I'm not envious, it's actually a nice thought, that there is joy in the world and people who are untouched by worry.
