Pineapples were the "Welcome" sign from centuries ago that folks were welcome to come and visit with the occupant of a home.

Status: offline 		I admit that I went to dinner with my ex-husband tonight to discuss things ( business things, we still co-own a business) and once again I am *SO* fucking eternally grateful that we had no children and honest to god I could just grab him by the fucking throat and punch him in the adam's apple until he was purple. I admit I am so confused how he can go through every day being such a miserable fucking asshole.

I admit that I tried a million ways to engage him in interesting conversation, to entertain him, to do all the things I did when we were married like appeasing his manic temper and his anger at nothing and everything and I felt sick realizing that I spent 20 years doing just that to no avail.

I admit that I don't hate him, but god he makes me so crazy because I know that if he listened to me he wouldn't be so miserable, and he really really needs to get some therapy.

I admit I feel sad that I still wish he was happy and would find some kind of peace, and he won't even date or attempt to find a girlfriend, and he still is that broken angry man that I left.

I admit that I am very sure that he was this way throughout out entire marriage and I hate it when people say there are always two sides because sometimes there just fucking aren't. Sometimes, just sometimes, people just suck and no matter what you do, there is no pleasing them and I won't take my "share" of the blame for a fucking asshole.

I admit I swear too much. .

Honest to god Steven you don't even know how much that meant to read right now. I am drained, exhausted and so ful of the same feelings that I had during our marriage..inadaquecy, stupid, useless, and all the things he made me feel every day, plus the feelings in  the pit of my stomach when he would pull into the driveway like "Oh my god is the house clean enough, is the dinner good enough, is he in a good mood, do I make him happy" (never) ....anyway..

I admit that there is way too much drama on fl and an emotional vampire has picked the wrong person and the wrong fricken day to try and take me on

I admit that I have been sobbing because it would have been my little brothers birthday today and after almost ten years I still feel his loss as keenly as if it were yesterday.

I admit that it is very hard to type and to pack my bags in between all of these tears

and yes I admit that I am one of the many who adds in the random "I admits" to the front of my sentences just so I can post in here

I admit that what are ya gonna do.... reach in and turn my computer off?

I admit that you are hugged and loved right back. I am so sorry about your brother. I don't know what to say except that, because I hate it when people say I know how you feel when they don't.

I admit that I am sending you seriously some just kindness and love honey. I guess this too shall pass, but even I don't know when. Please know that I think it will though, we don't forget but maybe the pain gets more bearable.

It's ok to feel what you are feeling right now Aynne, you have had a stressful couple of months with John's health worries, so let yourself be surrounded by the love and hugs and support of your many friends right now.  This is your time to be nurtured and reminded that you are a good person and that sometimes what we have to give to someone isn't enough for them ..and that is NOT a reflection on you but is totally about them and where they are at. I know how hard it can be to remember this, especially when you are constantly told that it is your fault and that you are the one that is not good enough or not trying enough or not caring enough but truly, this is all about him.  I have a sneaking suspicion that if I asked John to tell me how much value and love and support and laughter and joy you have added to his life he would be talking for a while.

I admit that with the size of my closet, anything that has anything resembling the smallest of stains goes straight to the garbage.

I admit I put on a dress I wore in high school, zipped it, and was able to sit down in it!

I admit that was exciting!
