My Must haves are gentle but firm, intelligence, and most definitly a sense of humor. Without those 3 things i would not submit, and Master has them in spades.

Aside from that, I play it by ear.

It's hard to nail down specific traits, except in fun and fantasy. I've done that before and then met people who demonstrated all the traits I think I like best and I've hated them on sight. Perhaps it's how the traits combine with other, unknow qualities to make the whole personality.
