Hi.

Every Xmas we give our subs something we know they like or want or something that'll make them a better sub. This year we want to do something special. Any ideas?

What gift are you subs hoping for?

What gift do you owners want from your sub?

A kiss and a cuddle and a caning would be nice for me. But then, things are a bit tight this year, and Sir is not great at the pressy buying thing.

One of the nicest things he gives me is welcoming my adult ums when they come over.

The only thing i could ever want this Christmas is to be back in the US with Master Charles, in His arms and down at His feet over Christmas and to see in the New Year with Him :)

Himself does not celebrate Christmas so he usually (not always) gets me plane tickets back to the States so I can spend the holidays with my kids/grandkids. I leave on the 1st and will be gone for most of the month of Dec. Since he will be traveling or teaching for the entire month, it works well for us otherwise I'd be sitting alone in this big, empty place. For my birthday in March (the big Five - Oh) he's taking me to Cairo. He doesn't always get me a birthday or a Christmas gift so I don't expect one but when he does, he usually is very generous and it's usually a trip of some sort which is great because I really like exploring other countries and cultures.

Actually, judging by these forums - Cats, lots of them. Kittens, everywhere, in stockings...climbing trees...wearing antlers..

That is exactly the face I was imagining the big gray and white blob laying beside me would make if I dreamt of putting such a thing on him!

As for the OP, I always try very hard to give gifts that are special and personally tailored to the individual. The possibilities are endless.

I know what I asked for this year.......really good, 100% wool socks. My old green army hand me downs are getting see through and we've no army surplus stores around. They are ugly as sin but nothing is better on the feet than a really good wool sock. They are expensive to buy and I am stingy with myself. I know most everyone is finding money very tight right now so what is an extravagance for me on a sock shopping basic, is perfect for someone that only has $20 ish dollars to spend but wants to get something for me, like my kids do. So I said, "A pair of good wool socks please." when I was asked. Most everyone on my list is getting either fudge, pralines, my locally famous apple sauce, preserves, one or more, mounted framed photos, or a combination of the afore mentioned. Except the grands, they are getting one of the less expensive toys they asked for and a few other odds and ends. With Generic Dude it depends on how much of my stuff (framed prints) sell. I would like to surprise him by helping him pay for a class he is going to be taking and is very passionate about. I just do not know if I can come up with the dinero.

Master gave me my gift early: a Kindle. I love to read and he wanted to give me something that I'd use every day. It was the perfect gift for me.
