"Europe should take its fair share" of the $5 billion to $7 billion a year target sum for 2010-2012, said Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, whose country holds the EU's rotating presidency.
The EU is expected to announce later Thursday the amount of money it will offer to impoverished, developing nations. Britain has said it will contribute $1.3 billion over three years, and Sweden will give euro800 million ($1.2 billion). German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Germany would contribute but gave no figure.

I know that Al Gore is set to make billions off of their Global Warming scheme, but I'll bet its nothing at all next to what Soros is hoping to make.
Every year Yahoo News runs a few stories of African "Kings" and their families flying to London in private jets to go on an orgy of spending on luxury goods right after they get their "foreign aid checks!"
And yes, they buy mink coats, to wear in Africa!
If this nonsense in Copenhagen reaches fruition something tells me we'll be seeing more of those stories.
What do they think is going to happen when they give *our* money to third world countries?
Anyone know if Mercedes Benz and Rolls Royce have booths at the Flat Earth Society Convention, I mean "junket" in Copenhagen?
