I don't have any hard data to support my instincts but my instincts tell me that there are not all that many dommes running around who aren't looking for a business transaction of some sort. If there were a plethora of non-pros available you and others like you probably wouldn't not be deluged with these types of emails.

Even if I do delete the obvious, my point is still valid. That they are targeting females of any persuasions, they aren't seeking femsubs or a female with specific qualities that appeal to them as you stated. And yes, I get mail from all sorts of people who do just want conversation including male subs. Anybody who posts a lot will get mail from those who read the forums but are too shy to enter into them.

Let me share this. It is sorta on topic but also can be posted under scams. This to me, a subby male so listed, from a subby female in pink. I agree with most of what has been discussed in that SOME male subs will contact any woman regardless of what she wrote. I understand, I get emails from many inappropriate people and just move on. The thing that annoys me more than anything, is when said male sub, after being reminded that I am a sub, comes back with..."oh, you are a Domme, you really look like one, speak like one and you just have not not discovered your INNER Domme; I can help you, really". I am like, dude, you are so barking up the wrong tree and desperation is never pretty. I cannot tell you how many times that has happened and interestingly enough, it recently happened when I went on a date from a VANILLA site. The guy seemed great, at first and on the second date he basically said the exact same thing that I wrote above. What does "looking like a Domme" mean? There are many beautiful Dommes and many beautiful subs, so not sure what differentiates the "look".

hahaha Good one, LadyHibiscus! I had this one guy write to me and say "But you're looking for friends. Can't you just help out a friend this one time?" and I'm like "NO. If you were a friend, you wouldn't be pressuring me like that." I can tell they don't read profiles, or else they'd be in my "Viewed Me." lol The ones who write to me, they aren't really submissives, they're bottoms.
