a munch. really, there is no better place to meet people.
get active in the community in general. go to munches, and you will get invited to parties. post on the boards here, either fucking around on the random banter folders, or posting to discussions that interest you in community discussions, or both.
If you are an open, friendly people, and just try, at first, to meet people in general, it will make it easier for you to meet a Mistress. Really.

I disagree . A Fetish party I would say. I asked a Woman what Her orientation was at my last munch last Saturday night and She avoided the question simply saying that She is here to enjoy the evening. I was hoping to maybe serve Her but She did not follow it up so i let it go. A Fetish party definitely. With that in mind, I hope to Nimhneach in the new year- the Irish Fetish Party in Dublin- my local town

EVERYPLACE. Here, other BDSM sites, at work, at school, at fetish clubs and parties. At vanilla clubs. They are everywhere, but you have to learn how to spot them. And you have to be willing to do the work.

you have to be one thing that sets you above anything else, "human" treat her like one as well, most Domme's want humanity in a sub...well I hope so lol...talk to her find out what she likes vanilla as well...then if your really lucky..

Well i told Her i was sub so i didnt think She would be offended if i asked Her what Her orientation was. But like i say maybe wrong venue. Tried at a Fetish Party might work better. Also maybe converse with Her more , dont introduce kink straight away

ghana, theres fucking millions of them there.

really though, as a lot of people have said, munches etc.
there do seem to be a lot of goths/emos into BDSM (i cant stand that sort of music myself) though those sort of gigs you'd stand a chance of bumping into someone, though of course theres no sensible way to start the right conversations there!
if you're lucky it could be anywhere, I met my last mistress by chance in a bar in budapest a couple of years ago.

Munches are usually lunch or dinner get togethers of lifestyle people. It's generally pretty low key - meet at a restaurant, chat, get to know people. Usually no fetish wear. There is a certain amount of "posing" between people sometimes, but meh... you get to weed out the chaff from the grain. Google that and things like bdsm groups, events, etc. There is a LOT happening in your area.

Perhaps "spot" was the wrong word. You have to gauge their domina interest/potential. There are a lot of ways to do that. I have met dommes in many environments, kinky and vanilla.

You can always take the direct approach as everyone has suggested or you can allow it to simply happen when it is supposed to. Make friends with people, be subtle with conversation, drop hints of what you like.
By the way, not every dominant woman attends local community gatherings.
