Well, not entirely. I haven't followed up on the osf saga, but there's a notable difference between finding someone's posts vapid and demeaning the posts and finding someone's posts vapid and demeaning them.

If he's been subjected to the latter, then it would be a concern.

That would only be the case if his posts weren't about himself. If his posts are all about himself, his beliefs, his desires, he's giving enough autobiographical information to be criticized for his beliefs rather than just his posts.

the statement was made in the open so if any woman responded favorably it would be with consent

as i said in an edit ive read may female profiles with a preference for that kind of treatment
the trap we're falling in is not believing that not every body on here wants what we want

It didn't specify, but I was actually focusing more on the 'I hate women' part as trying to start shit...maybe his "any woman who doesn't want to be a slave is a pervert" would be a better example.

Both are blanket negative statements toward all women (ETA: in the 2nd one toward all women who don't want to be slaves), and by encompassing all women they are also negative statements to any individual woman.

I've just made a cursory look-over as far as threads he's started. Only one of them was phrased specifically about him. The others didn't strike me as "about him" any more than any thread where a person is obviously floating a thought out there because of having had a personal experience with it (I'm pretty sure most of the threads here are started anecdotally).

And, unless he's been talking about anything that specifically involves a non-consenting party, I don't see where any substance can be mounted to support an attack on beliefs.

It always amuses me to watch forum newbies. Some take the time to get a feel for the board, read a bit before posting, and word serious posts so that they are clear and understandable. Those folks just seem to slip right in like they've always been here, regardless of the fact that many of us disagree with some, or even most, of what they say.

Others come on "bull in a china shop" style, posting nearly nonsensical crap all over the place, wording it in a way any adult should know is offensive, then whining about being 'attacked' when the responses they get are anything but positive.

I always wonder what the reaction would be should the latter try the same thing at a munch, party, or event.
