Hi cloudboy - FL is nice, but it is difficult finding a forum that "fits", there are so many, almost too many to choose from.  It is nice to be back at CM with the less moderation format and also I like that pics are now allowed to be inbedded in the messages.

Oh. Yeah. "I'm glad Spinner is dead" on a message board that's still being read by the man's widow is not the least bit ugly. Yes, that's very fun and very interesting, no question about it. I haven't laughed so hard since 9/11.

Yeah, dc. His wife posted a thread about it on the BDSM board.

Let's take place some things into context...Panda is incapable of doing such things.

I am not "glad" that spinner has passed on.  He seemed like a very decent fellow and his contributions and his words will be missed out here.

It has to do with a thread about what is too far for humor?  It started in the wake of the Ann Frank thread where Aileen, that insensitive twat, made some sort of Jew hating joke.

So let's get to the rub...I was joking that my first sophomoric response was to say in the spinner is dead post was that " I am glad."

There are a multitude of reasons for it...none have to do with Spinner personally as I have already alluded to above.

We have a great and ridiculous fear of death. It will consume us all. It is something not to be discussed or ever joked about. It is imperative that when one passes that we say something grand about  the individual. Death is something that should never be joked about.

no one, aside from the death of a truly heinous person sates, "they are glad."

Do you think it's funny. I care not.  It was just an offhand comment made.  I can certainly understand that someone close ot Spinner could be deeply offended.  My comment had nothing to do with Spinner directly but more about the inappropriateness of actually saying something about a person that has recently passed on.

Yeah, I think the obscure. the unaccepted and the off color can be horribly funny. I think taking shots at things that others tread away from or hold in great reverence or awe can be some of the best humor out there.

For panda to come out here and to suggest that my comment was directed at Spinner and was a reflection of how I actually felt about the man is disgraceful.

For those of you that might be upset that I would even joke around about such things, I cannot help those feelings and take full responsibility if it hurts our relationships down the pike.

Bottom line Panda is kind of a pud.

It is obvious that Panda is displeased that some of the formerly gone posters have returned.  I don't think it really has much to do with Spinner.

Wrong on both counts. Domi's the only one I don't like, and it was a pretty sad day when they let the little fucker slither back in.

The reason i responded to his latest tasteless remark had only to do with Spinner.

The reason I responded in the manner I did was because I dislike  Domi.

Among the many reasons I dislike Domi is because he's an obnoxious, self-absorbed prick with no respect for anyone or anything, who turns the whole message board into one giant "Random Stupidity" forum. So yeah, it had to do with more than Spinner, but it's not accurate to say that it didn't have much to do with Spinner. That's missing the point.

Oh, spare me the whining. You don't know the meaning of the word "disgraceful." Lot of other words you don't know the meaning of - like class, respect, maturity, etc. - but the only disgrace I see here is you not having the balls to man up and take some responsibility for the way people respond to you. It doesn't matter whether the comment was "directed at Spinner" or not, it was a tasteless thing to say. I get the point you were trying to make, but most people over the age of 8 have usually learned somewhere along the way how to make a point like that without being so tasteless. But not you - for you, it's all about being as tasteless and obnoxious as possible, because that appears to be the only way you know how to communicate. Your purpose is to provoke reactions, you provoked a reaction. Stop crying about how misunderstood you are.

I mean, for christ's sake, the man's widow is still periodically reading this forum, or was as of a couple of days ago. But hey, I'm sure if she happened upon that post, she'd have been deeply moved by the wisdom of your profound insight, and the devilishly clever way you chose to express it.

If I ever pass on...I would like nothing more than a slew of posters to chime in with nothing more than...."I am glad."

Would that not be a fucking hoot?

I shall write my own obituary.  It will be a tell all. It shall be filled with all of my inner thoughts as well as every picture of gash that has been forwarded to me off of this thang....Your names will all be attached.

You twats should wish me a long and healthy existence.  I will also leave behind sufficient monies to have the gash photos published in each and every  town where you fuckers reside.

I am not going down alone.

This always makes me think of the line from "This Happy Breed"

"She didn't pass on, pass over, or pass out! She died! "

A very old film but still one of my favourites.

Yeah; but see, the difference is, we wouldn't be joking! It would be said with all the seriousness and sincerity required by such an occasion.

So, that would be OK!

Just kidding. Really.

Maybe.

Oh dear domdom when are you checking out? I need to get my gash shot in soon.

Ladies rush to get your privates in domi's file before his Expiry date.

Panda, I for one will be genuinely sad to see the ol bastard go. He is sheer entertainment. I know I am not alone in thinking so.
