Keeping things civil isn`t a bad thing. At the very least, just to keep a conversation going.

But it`s not a job for control freaks.

It`s a little like herding cattle. You can get them going in the right direction, but if you break every cow that doesn`t go exactly where you want them to go,well.......you lose cows.

But I don`t have any issues as to how the TOS is enforced, other than the sliding scale or shifting definitions of the terms.

What I have a problem with, is a moderator who attempts to do my thinking.

Huh? I have no idea what you're talking about.

What are you talking about? Really, Jeffffwey, I'm finding your communications increasingly... huh... esoteric  .

HEY!  O59!  I was wondering if we'd see you back.

Bottom line Panda is kind of a pud.

I have to disagree.

Panda is one of my favorite posters--smart, funny, honest, willing to engage respectfully with folks he disagrees with, and able to converse on a variety of subjects.

Not long ago, a favorite poster in Random Stupidity needed surgery. While the rest of us said nice things, Panda actually organized an effort to make sure the patient had what she needed--practical as well as moral support. I was incredibly impressed by both his compassion and his willingness to act on it.

A great guy, imho.

Panda, I have to disagree with you regarding the return of a certain power-crazed fascist, but I'll do so respectfully, and with appreciation of your right to your opinion.  DG certainly has a provocative way of expressing his thoughts, but there are insightful thoughts there to be expressed.  Some of us find him funny as hell, too.

I'd suggest just using the "hide" button.  I've already applied it to one of our returnees who I find it completely pointless to engage with, though Lord knows I've given as many chances as I could stand.

I have to agree, dc. As much as I like domi, I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. I'd much rather have da panda presiding over my funeral. At least I'd know he wasn't gonna go through my pockets an take the rings offa my fingers.

I'm glad to see the moderation lighten up here, I was getting sick of being called a troll and threatened with time out's and banishment every time I said a negative thing about Obama.

There were a few that didnt release with all the others, his was one of then. Yours was released first go round, (the majority) and only those on the second were notified. That was only two. If I were you, I would just be glad we decided to have a " do over".
