Looking at self, figuring out your issues and where they stem from, dealing with them, attempting to become a better person as a result and making amends. This is what I consider growth. Though others might see it differently.

Many consider the definition insanity to be.....Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

I continue to be curious as to why you think that D/s based relationships lack normalcy. Every relationship I ever had as an adult was D/s based and was normal for me. Perhaps you need to define normalcy.

i never said it did't have what appeared normalcy if you take out the undercurrent of the hierarchal nature of the relationship

osf, i do understand how hard it would be for a Dom to think what is best the the "US", and as a parent, that i had to do as well. Sir is grateful that i can think on my own, and wouldnt want someone who can't. There will be things he will need to help me with, and i am humble enough to accept that with gratitude. His views i think just are different then yours, he doesnt look at me as being a burden [not putting words in your mouth just how i read your words], and having to think for me all the time. That was something we did discuss thoroughly and for Him he feels i would be the best to serve him, and i will serve him well.
