The next time you decide to "contact me" and "see how things are going" could you PLEASE have some sort of news that does NOT involve drama? Is that so much to ask?

How can you possibly get offended that I suggest anti-anxiety meds for your SO who is reportedly having "terrible nightmares every time they sleep"?

Is it necessary to blow everything out of proporiton to make it seem more interesting than it really is?

Honestly, boring is okay with me. "I'm fine, wifey-doodle is fine, kids are fine, one of them got an A on their spelling test and we are having meatloaf for dinner" would be fantastic news.

Instead. . . no. . . I always get the ten people have cancer, some new psychodrama, and the ex is doing A, B, and C while the kids are running amuck.

The sad part of all of this, is that I have offered repeated solutions for your difficulties. You have declined to take any.

I have no more sympathy. I do not feel like offering more solutions. At some point you have to act. Preferably like an adult. I have no time for you if you are going to whine and cry but do not exert yourself to try to actively improve a situation you are unhappy about.

Now Aylee, that was just bitchy and mean and you know it. My partner can't help it if he has horrible nightmares. He's MY partner after all! Sheesh! Have a heart. The poor man suffers enough as it is putting up with me. Honestly!

The sad part of the whole thing is that it isn't the activity per se that infuriates me. Have your head examined and get yourself commited as a ward of the state. You clearly are incapable of any kind of adult decision and need direct, intensive supervision so you don't accidentally staple your eyelids closed.
