LOL... It is because I have given many the opportunity to show themselves... give them time, be understanding and maybe even with a slow start... they will get better, that I have the jaded parts going well and strong. Not one... not even one... ever made it past months of one liner's. If the man can't speak from the get go... there is one thing to do in my world... get on goin down the line to someone who wants to coddle you and play the one line for months thing. I am not here to teach them to talk, to drag it out of them or wait patiently while we do it his way.

So jaded and cold... maybe... but I find more depth in those who can at least put a paragraph together in an attempt to get to know someone. Now, I have had one liner's that made me laugh my ass off and those were different. They weren't trying to break into anything with pretty words... and were typically responding to something I had said somewhere. But for the most part... like I said, if he can't put a paragraph of something together... he is barking up the wrong tree with me, because I need a communicator and that is just the way it is and will be.

You can take all the one liner's if you like and you can do all that work. lol Just not my thing. lol

I believe the Marines have a Name or Term for that ... It's known as "Adapt and Over-come". Just my opinion. It is a good ting to adjust and compensate for your surroundings.

Adjust and overcome what? lol If I sound jaded and cold to someone... that's okay... I have no problem with it. If jaded means, I know some of the games and act accordingly to what I want in life and don't accept or respond to those who play them... and speak about it... big deal. lol I call it like I see it. If that is cold and jaded to some... then I will be cold and jaded to them. I accept. lol

I don't care to communicate with someone who emails and says... I like your picture... you are so pretty... I want to serve you... you look hot. I think that those who say those things never get passed single lines... I want to fall on my knee's for you and they don't have the depth I look for in a man... wtf is the problem? lol The day my jaded or cold limit's my life and means I am hurtful to self or others... I might consider I am doing something wrong. Until then... they can either adjust and get into some real conversation that is more than pretty words with no real depth. Or... they can adjust and move right on down the line. lol

Oh I agree. I just meant to adjust and cover come those who either choose to only communicate in one liners or rude comments/compliments, avoid and block ... nothing else. You have adjusted to what is out there, and over come it by choosing to not frustrate yourself over those who do not meet what you want and need.

Why do some Mistresses block people for just sending them a simple compliment?
i think thats kind of rude.  Anyone else??

all4yourplsr

I don't block. If I have time, I answer thank you. That's it. If I don't, I just don't answer.

The thing is, if you are going to write something to someone, make it meaningful. I think that is the bottom line. Remember Dommes here get a whack load of mail.

Did the compliment include reading her profile and noticing that she was only interested in talking with local people?

LadyPact, even if I bolded that and put it in candy pink 60pt font, I'm sure half the guys who message me would ignore the fact that I say local men only... I don't answer them anymore. Unless of course they write to me with something meaningful to say and end it with "too bad we aren't closer". That's ok. I'm not a total bitch ;-)

I don't consider that jaded Lockit. I consider that having standards ;-) I feel the same way. If you are going to take the time to write to me to court me, write me a well thought out letter, not too long, not too short.

I've got a profile that states exactly why I'm on the net and what kind of messages I like to receive. It also states I want people to come to the point right away. So, Whenever I get a message like "Hi", "I want to be your slave", "Can we meet?"... the person contacting me is rude because he doesn't bother reading my profile. I just block the sender.
Other males dare to write me a respectfull message asking for advice or help. They get a usefull answer. Even a little bit of communication and the support they need to go for a subservant life.

It's your choise, but I won't waste time. Oh no, got to put this right: I won't allow you to waste my time.

\Surely I can't be the only one who has had days, even weeks like that ... please tell me I am not the ONLY one.

<---- Edited because I suddenly felt the need to rant and vent in the same breath! Sorry.

Don't be sorry because yes, you are the only one.  Thanks for the laugh.  Okay, my turn, sorry and you are not the only one who has days like that.  You did hit the nail quite fully on the head as to  why some people just can't be bothered some times.  I usually ignore one liners unless they are a request for permission to proceed with an actual email.  I only block those who are irritants.
