coI think it is a parents job to prepare their kids for a life out in the real world. I think children are really just on loan to us. I think all you can really do is give them a good education and good teeth..:) I am the parent of a just turned 26 year old nurse with a BS from Loyola. She may just be the best person I know. Jeff

I laughed until I cried visualizing the drag queens chanting and holding Phelps placards ....... I believe that ignoring the idiots is the best revenge ... but still like the drag queen idea !!!

I believe, and try to practice, that parents should raise their children to be autonomous and critical thinkers. To help them grow into adults that ask questions, do research, and to finally come to their own conclusions. Even if that means my children will will embrace a completely different cuckoo belief from my own. I feel that only this will give children the abilities they need in a world that spins out wackos and new tinfoil theories by the day.

To help clear this up: It is just one of my cukoo beliefs that it is the job of the parents to indoctrinate their children, not the school system, governement, or activist crowds.
