California does have a plan to have I5 be a hydrogen corridor. I poste the web site. Thompson claims that because it is behind schedule it doesn't exist.

The only place that you have shown this hydrogen corridor exists is in your mind.
FFS read your own citation.

Yawn, go hump someone elss leg troll. Everyone can read the site if they care and see who is correct.

But you did find me partially incorrect on something 2 years ago. Good job.

And your still obsessing over it.

Get some help....

Not partially incorrect ...totally fucking out to lunch wrong ...
I know it is only a temporary oversight but there was the other question of you saying that it cost more to make a solar pannel than they produce. Do you still stand by that one ?

luckydawg -> RE: So long Air America and don't worry... (2/4/2010 1:01:50 PM)

No, your claim that no stations have been built, was totally fucking out to lunch wrong.

You have been asked several times to produce any evidence on the energy requirments for making a photovoltaic cell. Your fear of actually providing is quite clear for all to see.

The stations you refer to are part of a central fueling hub for fleet service and not part of the "Hydrogen Highway" that you see stretching from end to end in California.
This is from the site you posted.

quote:

California currently has about two dozen stations in operation and others planned. These early stations were built specifically to fuel small fleets of vehicles. UC Davis studied the relationship between average driving time to the nearest station and the percentage of stations for major metropolitan areas. The study found that if hydrogen is available at the equivalent of 2% of existing gas stations, every FCV driver in an urban area can be within minutes of fuel

So it is your position that the manufacturers of solar cells sell them for less than it cost to make them? I am sure that makes perfect sense someplace ...just not here.

luckydawg -> RE: So long Air America and don't worry... (2/6/2010 2:49:04 AM)

Yes, "these early stations"

You really are a dumb troll......

How about, you show an unsubsidised energy source. Or betteryet some facts to back up your claims

Well, isn't that a nice adult thing to say?

Yes these early stations as in all 22 that have been completed and the ten still to be completed.
So far you have shown me Zero hydrogen fueling stations on the "Hydrogen Highway" Interstate 5 corridor.
Your whole citation is about fueling hubs not your "Hydrogen Highway"
Now if you can't read the cite you posted then perhaps you could get one of your sock puppets to read it to you.

luckydawg -> RE: So long Air America and don't worry... (2/7/2010 2:53:01 PM)

hey Tazzy if the shoe fits.

TO recap, thompson has changed his position at least 3 times. While demanding I apologize for something from 3 years ago, which he has not even produced. I don't rmemebr exactly what I said. I acknowledged several times that the hydrogen highway plan in california is far behind schedule. So I was incorrect in thinking it was still on plan.

He is a dumb troll....and he is on the "sockpuppet coward" bandwagon. A perfect example of how flawed his perception is.

Though he does demonstrate what levels he has to go to to find something I am less than 100% correct on.

And some sniping trolls jump in n it. How funny.

The fact remains that you and I have disagreed before and you have never been right and I have never been wrong.
All it takes to change that is to stop saying really stupid things. If you do I will stop pointing it out to you.
There is no Hydrogen Highway.
The people who manufacture solar pannels do not sell them for less than they cost to manufacture.
You call people cowards and liars and all sorts of vile names..I can only suggest that your propensity to display this sort of purile behaviour demands that you seek a competent mental health practicioner.

luckydawg -> RE: So long Air America and don't worry... (2/8/2010 2:40:44 AM)

Now if you could you point out anywhere I claimed they sold them for less than they cost to make, I would certainly admit it. But I never made any such claim.

You are lying. As usuall.

Though I do believe that all Solar panels get tax credits and other subsidies. and if that is not true, show me and I will admit it.

Yeah sinergy, I agree, the methane from the swamps is a huge problem, in reality our CO2 is only a tiny part of the problem, hence my oppositon to Kyoto.
If you set up a commercial power plant of any kind, it has to be hooked to the grid carefully, so yeah if you plugged your house into 5000 wave generators it would explode. But that would be a commercaill opperation, and at some point you would take steps to hook it up correctly. My city is installing a wind farm and doing a pilot project of tidal energy. You could put a small windmill on your roof/or a solar panel( but they take as much energy to make as you eventually get out of them), and it could provide 1/3 +of your own power needs, greatly cutting demand on the grid(and lowering carbon emmissions), that would have huge benfits and buy us time to get a better system.
In California right Now the entire I5 corridor is Hydrogen fueled. It is great they use a catalytic reformer( very little energy) to seperate hydrogen from natural Gas on site. At our post office they use a similar system that removes the hydrogen from Natural gas on site, then it goes through a fuel cell to make electricty, and the excess goes to our airport. the buety is that the fuel cell gets very hot, and that heat is reclaimed and used to heat water and the radiators( and in Alaska we use a lot of heat). I do not have the numbers off the top of my head, but burning Nat Gas to boil water to make steam to spin a turbine to make electricity isaproxximatly 35% efficency. Using the reformer process, and using the heat to heat water gives closer to 85% effiency( plus almost zero emmisions). Most of america is already piped for nat gas, so it really isn't much of a challenge to use these process. And eventuyally straight hydrogen could be put through the same pipes. Its not going to happen tomorow, but it has already started

Here you go sweetie.
Your original post where you speak of the "Hydrogen Highway" and solar pannels, I bolded it so you will be able to spot them easily.
I think that your next post should contain some sort of appology.

cuckyman -> RE: So long Air America and don't worry... (2/8/2010 8:37:21 AM)

Dead on target, ....Fire For Effect!.... you got them nailed ....

luckydawg -> RE: So long Air America and don't worry... (2/8/2010 8:02:07 PM)

So your quote proves that you were making up me using the term" hydrogen Highway". Making shit up and putting it in quotes.

California does have a plan for hydrogen transportation. It was scaled back agfter the Govenator took over/ and hte states economy turned to shit.

I have stated over and over, that I was incorrect, about the status of the plan.

And you made up the cost more to make. A made up lie poulled out of thin air.

If you provide any sort of evidence that My claim was incorrect, I will of course acknowledge it.

You have not done so. Though you do make up false quotes.

Speaking of which, how about the link to what you quoted of "me". You have in the past, and in this current thread, demonstrated intellectuall dishonesty by using edits and fake quotes before...

I am sure there is no reason for you to have not sourced your quote.....

You have been shown to be a two faced liar with your own words and you still deny it.
Y'all have a nice day

fake quotes

see how easy it is for me to back up what I say.
