My question is this. Im doing work experience currently for a Lady boss with no payment for up to nine months. But you would swear that I was costing Her the way She is so moody. On the one hand and often within the same day, She describes my work as terrible, then Im doing an excellent job. I dont think Im either excellent or terrible, somewhere in the middle as most are. Im doing marketting. I got twelve customers to buy today and only two yesterday. I did very little wrong yesterday. It s just a greater number of customers decided they wanted to buy today. It wasnt my doing. Given that the customer chooses and the agent has little control I find it hard to understand why my boss is swinging in her mood from one extreme to the other. Im doing everything to my best each day , it s just some days work out better than others. What do you think Ladies? Are there particular reasons why bosses and Women bosses specifically are moody

you'd be moody too, having to strut about all day in 6in heels......

nevertheless, good for you Kevin; what are you selling?

as for bosses in general, you cant make generalisations so easily as each has their own approach; looks like you got one who favours the "distance approach", or she's still sizing you up, or she lacks confidence in herself and is putting up a front

but as LaT suggested - whatever you do, just behave yourself

Well mine won't STFU for 5 minutes. I'm starting to hate everyone.

I've dropped hints, but I don't think she hears me. I've shut my office door, but she just comes in anyway. The bottom line is she loves to talk. I would have to be completely and rudely blunt, but she's also someone who gets her feelings hurt. And then she's a martyr. And then I start to want to kill everyone.

I totally get why some men get a little comatose with some women who chat non-fucking-stop. (I'm sure it's versa veesa, too.)

some bosses think keeping their subordinates off balance and insecure is a method to make them work harder. They think it's good management. It's not.

Then,of course, with women bosses you have that hormonal thang going on. Not a picnic.

Here is my .
Because... they (we) breathe!
Because... it is easier to cut a person down, rather then take the time needed to build them up.
Because ... that is the way things are.
Because... no one said life was right, let alone fair.
Because ... that is how almost everyone is trained to deal with others.
Because... they (we) are only human.
Because... that is how it was done to us (nearly everyone on the planet) when they (we) were learning to rules and ways of life.
Because... few of them (us) have the tools and ability (for whatever reason) to break the cycle of abuse, either in the home and or workplace.
But mostly, it is done because it has become the fashion to take out things on someone else to make the hell that has become their (our) daily life.

In elementary school, middle school, high school and college (if any were lucky enough to go to college) it has become acceptable to teach/educate a person by belittling, negatively criticizing and cutting at those who are there to be taught because it can achieve the end so they have more time to do it to others over and over.

What I am really saying is this ... The ‘why’ is not what really matters here so much as what the issue should be ... trying to fine a way of educating all the individuals that are caught in that situation by someone that is in the supervising, mentoring relationship with them. In my opinion, the best use of anyone’s, everyone’s efforts and time is in educating the current generation in a positive way that teaches the best and healthiest way to supportively and nurturingly (made up that form of the word, sorry) assist the next generation in breaking the current standard of practice of how co-workers, boss’s, CEO’s, CFO’s and all the other initials handle, treat, train, educate, mentor and interact those they work with and over.

Sincere regards,

Lady Challene

Snorts. Try advertising sales buddy. At least windows and doors are tangible. Media is intangible. Everyone is phony and in a bad mood and no one thinks they need it, but without advertising, there is no branding and no one hears about your business.

I think your right Lady Challene. Belittling someone regardless of whether your Domme, Superior. Boss or anything else is totally not the right way to go about instructing another human being. But sadly it is part and parcel of managing others in some people's lexicon anyway. Im not letting it bother me. I do my best , I cant do any more. If it s not good enough so be it, Ill keep trying
