If ewe went to bio-chemestry class you would know that the hypothalamus is seriously damaged by the chemicals from the severe pain of circumcision.

Ewe would also know that the hypothalamus is the core of the brain.

Is your use of "ewe" to imply that folks who disagree with you are sheeple?

maybemaybenot -> RE: God Helps with Personal Decisions, Most Americans Say (3/14/2010 6:37:08 PM)

Use the entire study Bella.

However, the data do suggest that the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis is responsive to the stress of circumcision During the first 6 hours of life.

This is the most recent information that extreme stress actually causes gene changes.

I believe that and animal that is cut and poked and abused and faced with a hostile society are going to become like abused pit bulls.

That's a very good article, Bella. And one I can not take issue with. here comes the big BUT.....................

That study had nothing to do with circumcision. As stated in my article, the one that actually deals with what you stated in post 121: There is a six hour window of stress on the newborn after circumcision. Your article is talking about other stressors. Not only that, but they tormented the poor mice for months to get these results. From infancy to adulthood. There is no reference to having tormented the mice for 6 hours resulting in lifetime of depression and other stress related complications.

Your study specifically states it researched vasopressin and how it affected stress in the baby mice. Vasopressin is secreted by the posterior pituitary gland, not the hypothalmus. In Post # 121 you cite the hypothalmus, now you are citing the posterior pituitary.

You are using apples to discuss oranges and calling them plums.

Are ewe trying to pretend that your brain has not been washed? Ewe big butt stinks!

Ewe obviously know nothing about animal husbandry.

The article also states that it's responsive to the trauma of a Caesarean section and possibly even to the trauma of labor. While heightened plasma cortisol levels seem to be linked to the act of circumcision - it doesn't appear make a case for those temporarily heightened levels to be harmful.

The last woman I dated was a PhD molecular biologist. We're on pretty good terms so I texted her and asked her about when she took biochem.

She claims that circumcision and its effects weren't on the curriculum at any stage of her studies.

It's possible, bizarre I know but just possible, that I know what the hypothalamus is.

I'm actually not claiming that circumcision is not harmful - I honestly don't know - but as a scientist I'm naturally a skeptic - so I'm not willing to take it on faith. However, I don't want to be a party to jacking RML's thread any more so I'm just going to send you CMail.

Circumcision is wrong! Cutting babies is not good health care. Child abuse is illegal.

IB:

Agreed, I was trying to point out to our friend that the study she initialy used had a six hour window. I really don't have a dog in the circumcision arguement. I don't have kids. My brother and father were uncircumsized, brother had to get it done in his 20's. I've been with those that got and those that ain't got. Makes no never mind to me.

And I agree, I have gone far off the topic. Apologies to RML.

She thinks it's cute. My niece went through that stage when she was about 12.

GotSteel -> RE: God Helps with Personal Decisions, Most Americans Say (3/15/2010 6:22:29 AM)

I quit trying to get her to stop hijacking the thread a long time ago.... she is a loon

Me, calm down? NO WAY. I want to know why ewe choose to mutilate their children. I think it is a shame that ewe have not learned to pro-create.

If ewe weren't so stupid they could have children with perfect penises but they chose to butcher them.

I came to collar me hoping to find a whole man. Scar tissue dick is not sexy. Scar tussue dick can't feel and it is very crooked, bent and small.

God and his stupid choices has really wrecked my ability to find a quality man (in America). Yes, Im pissed off about it.

slvemike4u -> RE: God Helps with Personal Decisions, Most Americans Say (3/15/2010 2:41:44 PM)

This is simply the female manifestation of.......cucky,with a circumcision complex?
sheesh,I just got a cold chill run down my spine.....imagine those two reproducing?

Jeffff -> RE: God Helps with Personal Decisions, Most Americans Say (3/15/2010 2:45:37 PM)

Yet we are all very happy that this is so, the idea of you reproducing is just too horrifying to contemplate... little ewes running around ramming their uncircumcised opinions everywhere

slvemike4u -> RE: God Helps with Personal Decisions, Most Americans Say (3/15/2010 3:20:26 PM)

Yep,its god "and his stupid choices"that has wrecked her ability to find some man to rut with.....couldn't be that the minute she opens her damm mouth any sane man forgets what the fuck it might have been that moved him to approach her in the first place.....nope ,couldn't be that...could it?
