I had my wisdom teeth out at 28. I made good use of the narcotics he prescribed. But wine and pain pills worked even better. I love drugs. I even asked for more a week later.

I dont know about wisdom teeth, but when I was in my mid 20's my upper teeth were breaking up and literally falling apart. I was in constant pain. I made an appointment for the afternoon the next day to have all the upper teeth removed. I hadn't eaten since the night before, so when I got home abt 530 I was sore, but hungry. I laid down for a few minutes. I woke up to Mother calling me into the kitchen. My Mother, God rest Her soul, had promptly made me a cheesburger!!!! I finally was able to eat it by cutting it in small enough pieces to just swallow. I discovered twice that night that I clench my jaw whenever I sleep! Hell of a wake up call! Haven't clenched my jaw since! Scotty

Oh, and don't let anyone give you soup that evening unless you like looking like a drooling mess because of the numbness. (damn husband, ha ha honey!)
