OP - we all have to wade through the scum in the shallow end of the gene pool before we find the clear water beyond. The trick is how you handle the first part of the journey. Be positive, don't post rants about 'wannabes and fakes' and you will eventually attract the right kind of people.

I've been on here a few years now, and I've met my fair share of marrieds, freaks, psychos and desperate losers. But I've also met (in r/l as well as online) some truly awesome people that I'm proud to count as being my friends.

I may even have found that 'special someone' after a looooooong time looking - but more about that later

My point is - hone your loser radar, don't be defeatist and don't be a drama queen. Because just when you give up looking, you may be pleasantly surprised.

You are not the first pretty girl that has graced this site with her presence, nor the first that men wish to possess. I've had a pretty good run myself and there have always been men, even submissive men who wished to possess me, but I am the key factor in that and it goes the way I decide it goes. Men have surrounded me, followed me, pestered me and believe me it wasn't always because I had a pretty face. Some just wanted that sweet lil package I carry, called a vagina, or even a place to live or some even like that I was somewhat smart or funny. There are prettier here than me and I am sure you. Get over yourself. I've seen some not so pretty get the same reaction we have gotten.

Most the men that contact me here want one of a couple things and few have much to do with who I am, what I am and what I want.

So, what do we do with that? It is our choice what we do with that. Oh believe me, I write some journals that actually bring some decent men to my email door with my humor or sarcasm and the ironic of it all. They laugh with me, agree and we make a new friend. You laugh at it. You don't let other people determine who you are or what you are or how you act. When I do vent, it is mostly to the idiots who approach with their... wanna suck my cock bitch? I don't go venting on people who could become my friend or more.

Your anger to some degree is understandable and had you come in with real questions and frustration, many may have supported you and actually given you a few compassionate pats, but you made the choice to vent as you did. As if other submissive's were worth less than you and most dominant's were predators. Fuck them all (stomp of foot, stomp, stomp) how dare they? I am so special what do they think this is? I am leaving here you fucking ass holes!

I think you got just about what that was worth. In the moment you may have over reacted. Now that you have had some time... are you going to continue the spoiled princess routine or are you going to sit back, see that not everyone is what you think and see that you are not alone, we all get that (pretty or not) and there are a lot of reasons to actually stay here and change your attitude and way of letting it get to you?

It is all up to you. Let the horny, pushy kinkster's get to you or find those who can really enhance your world? It is up to you to decide what's important in your life and let this all be a lesson to you. They are out there... the freaks, the liar's, the cheat's and those that just wish to use you and then, there are those who wish to know you and use you in ways I am sure wouldn't offend you. There might even be someone who would love you. Your choice. Stomp your foot and run or stomp your foot and stay and see a bigger place with bigger people.

Never said that.  I did say that I have managed to be here and encounter very little of it.

There's bad everywhere.  Honestly, there is.  I will tell you that all I am really hearing is the whining of a self entitled, spoiled child who has not gotten her way fast enough or specifically enough to suit.  Did it ever occur to you that the best things in life are often those that it appears we don't want and never, ever would?  I didn't get what I was looking for here.  I got a person who was exactly what I needed.  I have written about it time and again that he was not who I was looking for.  He was not even in the same universe as that which I was looking for.  He has proven to be strong enough and strange enough to do what that imaginary guy never could and that I needed most.  Fortunately, I kind of like surprises.

Actually, she didn't.
Apologise, realise, minimise, maximise and many other words are spelled with an valid alternate spelling in Britian and other places.

As for your rant, I am sorry you had negative experiences.
I am very sorry that they have led you to a sad conclusion.

Mine have been vastly different from yours.

"The reason that I am posting this is because I think that every single Dominant, "real" or not.. has ultimately lost his or her mind. The reality of lifestyle does not have to include the dehumanizing of women/men (unless that is their wish!). To ASSUME that is her/his wish, makes nobody but you an IDIOT.:

None of the people I have met ever dehumanized me.
I see no signs of insanity in my Master (who I have been with for over a year).
He is a patient and kind man who is clear in his expectations.
I do my best not to disappoint him because as Heinlein wrote: "Love is the condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.".

I thought that it was interesting that in making so many cut and dry statements about the nature of dominant men (and women) you are in essence objectifying them which runs pretty close to what you were ranting against.

Also, my experience has been that during the times I wound up with men who treated me badly, it was because my 'people picker' was off.

None of this is in any way intended to be an attack.
You may perceive that anyway and for that I apologise in advance.

Erm...wanders is Australian. Not all spelling systems have that odd American obsession with zeds-it doesn't mean she's wrong.

As for always trying to check my own writing-yes, I am going to tell you that. If you just bang your fists against the keyboard and press send no matter what the results, then you're saying that you don't consider the reader worth more than a couple of fist bangs (anyone with a dirty sense of humour will please refrain from making the obvious joke).

If you don't consider us worth a quick read-through then that's fine, but don't be surprised when you take a bit of flak for it.
