If you put an innocent person in prison you are more likely to create a criminal than putting a guilty person in prison is likely to create a law abiding citizen. (I really tried to word that better but .....)

and for the rest of the this discussion, well, wow. People been putting minor people on UM status for flights hither and yon for quite a while and how many have the airlines ever lost? Surely there were some along the way, but the point here is that it is not an "un-norm", anymore; it is how it is done if you are sending a minor somewhere and for WHATEVER REASON you are un-able to accompany. A stranger picks up the child?? Happens everytime you ship 'em off to the school or wherever. Are 'YOU' certain of WHO will be there, even if they have the documents to show the airline??? If ya ain't there then how can you be "certain"? And I saw nothing in what K was gracious enough to provide for my edification and enlightenment which showed the "stranger" to have been in anyway unsafe for the child.
I got booted from my kids' house at 17 months after birth, (count that please as 2 months prior to conception, 9 months gestation and 17 and 1/4 months of life with my kid and total it up at just over 28 months (Yeah, fewer than 1,000 days), and I got to go live "down the street" from my kid. Yes I stayed as close as possible. I procreated with permanence in mind, or at least longevity, and I hoped for a whole lot closer to a brood that just the one, but gee, " I was LIED to!" (or something or other!). Anyhow...
I remained where there are no (or very scant, anyhow..) possiblities of opportunities for getting ahead. That is especially true when you have a cracked up body to deal with and pretty much manual labor skills only. So I deal with it.
Yeah, this is going somewhere...
While the kid was growing up the kid was told, "Don't care how mad you get at the Mom, YOU DON'T HIT THE MOM! You will not LIKE the reprisal if you hit the Mom."
Don't get me wrong; I appreciate the woman bearing my kid, but lying to me and then tossing me out like it was so much easier than making any attempt or there was never permanence in her intent concerning me at least, did not sit so very well and though the day that she showed up back at home without our kid to tell me the bad news that set this row for me to hoe could very well have, within one single instant, by one single strike, been her last day upon the face of the earth, yet the reasonableness that had finally been learned by this particular naked ape prevailed and all I did was to call the cops to force her to return the guns she had mis-appropriated. (I turned the guns over to the cops upon her return of them to me in their presence so that EVERYONE would know that I wasn't gonna be blowing anybody away that day anyway! I requested a period of time for everyone to cool off then retrieved my guns. As would be the right of any responsible citizen of the USA one would hope. My 'utensils of projectile propulsion' were never taken by the authorities or held by any need or because of any act of mine except my request, but someone who is tossing me to the fucking curb sure as fuck don't get to hang on to my firearms! And I didn't want anyone {with guns and badges??} nervous. AND YEAH, I would have filed a complaint of firearms theft had they NOT been returned post haste. I treat the possession of firearms VERY seriously.)
When the Mom told me that the kid had hit her and she was thinking of a call to the police, I went into her house (this was numerous years after my expulsion at 17 months akb and we have spent all that time raising the kid "together {that bothers me, but another time on that shudddddder}" just from different houses and with me only getting around 4% of my kids "time" appointed me by the system", I make darned sure that the short person knows I'm here. (Poor or not, still here.)... grabbed the kid and we marched out to the car and then we went to the police. On our way in I explained that I did not want to be doing this and it might backfire on me and result in an incarceration that I did not want to occur, but that the Mom and I were in accord and it was NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, NO HITTING THE MOM! Didn't hear it the first time, here, we'll let these guys tell it to you, then. Enjoy. You're on the path to more trouble than what is showing up here now and I'm rescuing you NOW!
Again, don't get me wrong. I HATE dealing with the system in almost all of its facets. And while it is true that I thankfully do NOT know what life in the big house is like, I am more than certain that I don't want any of my offspring winding up there.
And the same for the new 7 (is that right, or was he 6?) yo, you make a threat, you answer up for it. One chance.
Just recently the Mom said that while the kid wasn't hitting her anywhere other than the arms, still it was causing her problems, I told her to NOT HESITATE, call the system and then I went to the house of my kids friend and when my kid came out on the front porch I loudly (not screaming, but surely clearly understood by all within earshot) that I had told the Mom to report ANY assualt immediately. To The Authorities!!! Seems like that has ended the problem.
Can NOT say with certainty that it will work in every case, but it sure does give the offender something to think about.
And while it is true that diet and meds can modify even severe problems of the psyche, body and mind, blunt force fear of the consequences with clear guidelines of what is expected for the avoidance of those consequences sure does seem to help, too. But we grow up in a society now that glorifies murder and mayhem and fails to make clear that there are real repercussions and penalties for our mis-deeds and then blame those with impressionable minds for our own failure of them when they snap.
Great days to all, but I'm sure they're kinda sucky for all those involved with that little Russian boy (who isn't dead, btw, either at the adoptors hands or the people whose hands they put him into to get him back "home") how the freak sad do you think his days are? I think pretty much so, personally.
Things are fairly darned grim where-ever one might choose to look; got this long haired selfmade internet marketing guru millionaire trying to be running BAREFOOT across the USA to raise $100,000,000.oo and awareness to combat teen homelessness in this nation and we all be worrying about the bringing of more peeps from otherwheres?? Well, I've given my one threehundred millionth part 57 times or so in cash (300 million people in the USA, answering to one hundred million dollars sought equals 35 cents per citizen, or so) but 2 million homeless (and that's NOT COUNTING EVERY AGE GROUP EITHER) getting 100,000,000 bux is only 50 bux a head. NOT A GREAT BIG DENT IN THE PROBLEM MAYBE, but maybe a start on the awareness factor. And I have kicked very very hard on that awareness raising factor, as I'm sure hoping that that guru would attest to. (Such Ppoorpoetry, lofa??) (My Brrothher, he put up a sign for heem! Eet's so cool!)
Can't say that I understand people. But, not much allowed too much beyond that except trying to avoid the most stupid of us naked apes.
