WantingToServe11 -> What to eat for din din? (4/18/2010 4:34:22 PM)

What would you eat for dinner if you're too lazy to cook but you're hungry as hell and you want something on a low budget?

Or

What are you gonna have  for dinner?

Or

What have you already eaten for dinner?

CBA to cook: noodles and dumplings from the chinese supermarket with oodles of soy sauce. Inauthentic but tasty as fuck, and it takes about two minutes once the kettle has boiled.

Baked potato.  Cheap and quick in the microwave.  Also healthy.  Toppings of your choice and budget.

I will have a snack of cheese and crackers later with Butterhead.

Late lunch / early dinner was enchilada casserole and low-fat cottage cheese.

Pot pies.  Both of us don't want to cook and Lizard comes home tomorrow from NYC.  We are planning an Italian feast for her.

*gets the TUMS out just in case*

Ya know, while I can and do make homemade pot pies, I also keep some in the freezer for those nights when I do not want to cook.  Open the box, play with the knife, pop in the oven and in an hour you have din din.  [:)]

Tuna sandwhiches and chips OR Grilled cheese and tomato soup are also great for those not in the mood to cook nights.

Tonight I defrosted some lamb tenders I had previously grilled, sliced them up added cherry tomatoes, asparagus, onions, garlic, parsley, to make a quick stir fry. Yum!

Daddy usually takes us out to eat, or we have stuff in the freezer specifically for microwaving when we hungi and don't wanna fix nothing.

Tonight, I had breakfast at 4 in the afternoon and it's probably the last thing I'll eat today, but I don't know, the nights still very young.

kinda feeling a bit sad and bo boo'd cause the cables not working and hasn't been for about like 40 minutes an I can't fix it, so I don't really feel like eating just curling up and pouting. However Daddy will be home in less than 2 hours an he'll try to fix it then maybe we'llget some grub on.

Salad

No clue, I am just now eating my breakfast. Last night I made burgers on the grill. I still have left over BBQ chicken, potato salad, and some marinated grill chicken breasts so I will probably have.....a salad with the chicken breast.

Or

What have you already eaten for dinner?
For last night, see above (burgers).

favesclava -> RE: What to eat for din din? (4/19/2010 3:36:01 PM)

ShaharThorne -> RE: What to eat for din din? (4/19/2010 3:43:25 PM)

Tonight, I am roasting a chicken in a bundt pan (usually it is a beer can, but this way, I won't eat the fatty parts), smeared with butter and greek seasoning.  I will fix up some mashed potatoes and butter beans.  Damn it, I forgot the french bread!

tropicalhoney -> RE: What to eat for din din? (4/23/2010 6:42:08 AM)

Tonight I am splurging with Guatemalan enchiladas from my local Mexican grocery store, rice and beans

sunshinemiss -> RE: What to eat for din din? (4/23/2010 6:51:33 AM)

ResidentSadist -> RE: What to eat for din din? (4/23/2010 7:54:20 AM)

It was a peasant's meal. I had beef over noodles with gravy and several beers. Between the starch and alcohol, I fell asleep very shortly after dinner and didn't wake up until 7am this morning. The slave said she was looking around for the woodpile this morning because she swore she heard me sawing logs last night.

divi -> RE: What to eat for din din? (4/23/2010 9:49:19 AM)

I want some of LaT's leftovers.. yum!

But tonite I'm making mahi mahi on the grill and a salad

LaTigresse -> RE: What to eat for din din? (4/23/2010 10:28:48 AM)

I have zero idea what I am having for dinner tonight. Last night was frozen pizza (sooooooooo healthy!) and breakfast was a slice of cold frozen pizza and a banana. Lunch was a healthy salad......we shall see what the evening brings. The way things are going it may be hospital food...[:'(]
