Free the yarn!
Free the yarn!
Free the yarn!
Free the yarn!
Free the yarn!
Free the yarn!

I think sending kyra a care package of yarn is a great idea, though I do worry about her getting in trouble. KoM, my mom used to knit me the most beautiful sweaters, I really think you should try to get past the trauma of your youth and see the potential. Plus it's not good to hold onto trauma, it can take over your life and the next thing you know you are freezing because of your inability to wear knit scarves and gloves which are so warm and toasty.

There are those of us who have been doing Plastic Canvas needlepoint for the last 34 years, and that takes lots of yarn too LOL don't forget about us in the mix!

stroke the yarn
pursue the yarn
covet the yarn
touch the yarn
work the yarn
mould the yarn
needle the yarn
rip the yarn
undo the yarn
kill the yarn
.... now, what part of this is evil?

LOL This has been very amusing this evening. I never knew that so many would rise to the cause of yarn mistreatment!!! LOL
Someone had to do it Kyra. Afterall, the only thing that is necessary for leather to triumph is for yarn lovers to do nothing.

leadership527 -> RE: Yarn- Good or evil? (5/30/2010 9:42:02 AM)

Wow, in thinking about all this I just realized the crux of the whole yarn dilemma. Do you think it'd be possible to knit (or crochet) a doormat out of yarn? If so, just imagine what that might do to self-image of the poor house it sat in front of?

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Yarn- Good or evil? (5/30/2010 9:55:18 AM)

You can absolutely knit a doormat! I suggest a nice hemp... You could also crochet one!

kiwisub12 -> RE: Yarn- Good or evil? (5/30/2010 11:51:37 AM)

Yep - but that upholstry fabric is sooooo heavy when you make a bed cover out of it. .....not that i would know that! [8|] [:D]

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Yarn- Good or evil? (5/30/2010 12:06:35 PM)

Alandra,

Good to see you!

psst...slip us a p.o. box number where we can smuggle in yarn

FelineFae -> RE: Yarn- Good or evil? (5/30/2010 12:37:30 PM)

Yarn is fun to play with.
Yarn is fun to give to cats.

And it's so stress relieving to knit,
after one drops a stitch when nearing completion,
you throw the stuff on the floor and jump on it and curse at it,
and then,
you feel so much better.[:D]

WyldHrt -> RE: Yarn- Good or evil? (5/30/2010 2:10:13 PM)

*Waves to Alandra* And the floss! SAVE THE FLOSS!
Better? [:D]
