Erm...the primary pic on my profile (not the one of the tattoo that I use here) was taken on holiday. The table behind me is covered in wine glasses and there are bags all over the floor, even though I'm prettymuch a non-drinker these days and I don't usually let glasses pile up.

I didn't chose the picture as some kind of freaky psychological test, Marc; I chose it because I liked the lighting and the blurriness.

Pictures capture a moment-sometimes other features of that moment are more important than the washing up in the background...

If it indeed has that overriding quality in the first place, of course, which then is another matter, arguably. I don't think your photo looks bad at all, VC—it has an aesthetic quality to it with the refracted light through all the glassware and blurred shapes around you that are fairly indistinguishable. I am glad you managed to not sound like you're speaking through six pillows, however.
