I would just like to give a huge shout out to my best friend and Daddy - Captainofthesea. He and his crew departed on Friday for gruelling 635 mile ocean race. They have left Newport RI and are on their way to Bermuda. Daddy and I did not have time to talk before they left but I want them to know how much I am rooting for them. I believe at last count there were 185 vessels entered. May the Winds always be where you need them. Godspeed Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last report (2 am EST) had them 31% completion. They are sticking nice and close to the pack. It would be soooo exciting to be there, but just thinking of being on a small boat that long makes me seasick. But damn - those boats need internet and on-board webcams I tell ya!
