Well...since you're being all honest and stuff, I have to admit to some creature confusion as well.

See...I think I'm a cute lil kitty. I've always been a cute little kitty. (a princess kitty as a matter of fact!)

But HM calls me pony. Now even my children call me pony, which is REALLY odd. (they've never seen me *be* a pony so, it's not perverted)

I've never heard of a kittypony or a ponykitty.

I don't know how to reconcile my different selves, or even if it's a good idea.

I'm not sure a pony even SHOULD use a litterbox, even if you could find one that is big enough...

Well, you look like a cute little kitty in your forum pic... But I could be biased, I think kitties are cute.

I have heard of bunnykitties. So it isn't so hard to imagine a ponykitty. I wonder if that would be kitty-sized, or pony-sized though? The two are not very similar in size, like kitties and bunnies are. Ponies CAN be trained to use litter boxes though, this I am sure of! My friend has a house pony and the pony does use a large litterbox. So I suppose a ponykitty would use a litterbox too.

I would think a ponykitty would be awesome. The cuteness and soft cuddliness of a kitty, and the usefulness and obedience of a pony.

I'm not helping much, am I? *grin*

Not really, but only cuz his ex was his bunny. So I can't and don't want to be a bunny. Harrrummmph.

(does anyone know if either a pony or kitty says harrrummmph?) *sighs*

Well one out of two isn't bad. Referring to a previous post in this thread...

Blushy, I sympathize with your concern. I have to struggle with the delicate internal balance of being a hybrid of hedgehog, ferret, feline, penguin, and shark - and those are just the ones I've found to date. Your identity crisis makes perfect sense to me.

Oh, I dunno, it can't be all THAT bad. Daily rub-down, plenty of runs, all the oats you can crunch... I mean, it's no pampered kitty-cat lounging on a pillow, but the pony at least can take one hell of a beating.

Aww, don't feel bad. I get confused too. Sometimes I'll be scampering around like a ferret and purring, or curled up in a hedgehog ball and dooking my little head off.

Dooking? Pray tell, what is dooking? Would I be upset if I found HM doing it? Is it something I do (albeit in secret?) Is it against the law in at least 12 states?

Dooking is when you've got a ferret scurrying around making their pleased noise. Well, "dooking" is specifically the pleased noise ferrets make. Not so much of a "d" sound, but there's definitely an "ook" in there.

Oh, Kari, we will be coming to CO to collect several of you little buggers for experimentation!  We will collect you in nets and then we'll probably dehydrate you and determine your dry mass, then chemically separate you from your pigmentation in order to determine how much pigmentation is being produced under certain light frequencies!  Oh, JOY!  Aren't you excited?

Zooplankton pigments were extracted from whole
animals using approximately equal numbers of each
sex with 10 mL of 95% ethanol. In each extraction,
10-15 copepods of the latest copepodite stage available
(usually adults) were put whole in 95% ethanol
and placed in the dark at room temperature for 24-
48 h.

"I made this monkey pony monster to please you
What's with all the screaming?
You like monkeys you like ponies
Maybe I used too many monkeys
Isn't it enough that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?"

What an ass. I've received some "funny" ones I guess. But they were so offensive (like that one) that I immediately reported (if bad enough) blocked and deleted.

Poor copepods!! Oh, well, good thing we copepods reproduce at phenomenal rates, then huh? I think currently my relatives are all around New Zealand, so safe? But be sure to say hi to your collected copepods for me! Hi is basically waving your cilia at them. Hrm.. But humans don't have cilia. Maybe if you waved bits of hair at them, they'd understand that?

That must be a neat job you've got, to get to do such things. :)

I are a college student!  They learnin' me up  real good there!

Actually, people do have cilia, it's just on certain cells, so you can't really see them.
