sweetsub1957 -> RE: define submissive/slave difference (8/2/2010 6:52:12 PM)

~FR~ I consider myself a submissive, not a slave. "Slave" sounds scary to me. Although I don't make a point of saying I make one choice at the beginning of a relationship to obey Him & give up any subsequent ability to choose, at the beginning of a relationship I have still chosen to do whatever He tells me to and I continue to keep doing so for the duration of the relationship. I say I am a submissive rather than I act submissive. I still am a submissive, regardless of whether I'm in a relationship or not. So what's the difference between the two? I say it's just whatever the people in the relationship say it is. Just for the record, the slave vs. submissive question is as old as the hills and will probably never be answered to everyone's satisfaction. [;)] ~sweetsub~ ~OOPS Fixed spelling~
