An annoying trend I've come to notice among the general population using the site (Maybe not the Forums but the site in general), and perhaps it's a regional occurrence, is the plainly obvious profiles of subs/slaves/switches/whatever be they male, female or something in-between saying they're looking for that one person who only wants them and blah blah blah. You're looking a boyfriend, not BDSM. You might like BDSM. You might like getting your hair pulled during sex. But you're not here to meet people to chat with and learn about the lifestyle. You're looking for a boyfriend. Stop putting in your profile that you're open to this or that when later on in your post you state that you only want this one specific kind of relationship.

Fine. You want a boyfriend/girlfriend/whatever, that's perfectly fine. But stop insulting my intelligence. You're desperation for a committed relationship is just bursting out of your profiles and it's rude to believe that we're too dumb to realize it.

Oh. to those committed to the lifestyle and to experiencing it, I applaud you and hope you the best. What's been getting to me lately is the profiles that are so clearly treating the site as an adultfriendfinder (leather bound edition) except free to use.

I think you're a little confused there, OP.  First, let Me thank you for recognizing that some of us are living this lifestyle.  From the tone of your post, I'm probably more successful at it than you are.  Perhaps you should check your methods.

If you find the site such at a loss for meeting your needs, why are you not out meeting people in the real life community?  There is a thriving one in your neck of the woods.  I happen to know because I've been there.  I'm even betting that I could walk in again and find a play partner.

Maybe, the problem really is you.  Part of that may be that pic that you've attached to your profile that makes you look at least fifteen years older than the age you list.  Maybe you don't have your wife's consent to play and many people don't want to get mixed up in that.  I can't say.

What I will say is this.  If anybody is treating this place like AFF the kink (I won't even insult My own lifestyle by saying "leather") edition, it's you.  Sorry that you couldn't just sign up and have people throwing themselves at you for you to beat.

I was traumatized as a young girl by math. I was brilliant at all subjects except math. It was those story problems..."a train is going 125 miles an hour. how long would it take to get to San Diego if the train veers off track and the passengers are picked up by a jet plane going 1000 miles?"

How many passengers are there? Where did the train start it's journey? When the train veers of its track how many die? Is the jet plane British Airways or Air France? When you say 'get to San Diego'....do you mean the plane landing on the tarmac....or all the passengers through passport control and having a beer in the airport bar? Is anyone on the plane pregnant to the point of dropping?......need to know the chances of an unscheduled stop in Turkey....When the passengers are picked up by the jet plane...do they actually get into the aircraft or are they suspended on the wings by rope as this plane travels its 1000 miles.

I think I can work this out for you given a chance. It should save a few tears so more than happy to help.

As the plane crossed the California / Mexico border it crashed.
In what country are the survivors buried?

Costa Rica....buried with the parachutes they used to jump to safety.

There was a 5'4 inch lady weighing approx 10 stone 6 with a fridge on her back (she'd taken it on holiday as she was worried there wouldn't be any fridges in San Diego and needed to know she could have a cup of tea in the morning)......and there was a 17st 6'2 inch bloke who'd had a few too many brandies when the trolly wench came round serving drinks...he jumped 7 minutes after the lady.....which one of them hit the ground first?

Absolutely correct....and when given the directions by a kind old soul looking out for his welfare....he took no notice...decided to go his own way....and landed in a swamp....infested with crocodiles....all of whom hadn't eaten in a year. Justice served.

Ahhh....you see.....he's super dom....trained in martial arts from the premier Japanese martial arts school.......and he's a clairvoyant super dom....so he forsaw this whole episode and spent years in isolation in the mountains of Switzerland grappling and fighting the snow crocodiles they have over there.....

So......it was touch and go for a while.....but super dom pulled through....if you ever go to San Diego...there's a bar on the corner of the main thoroughfare....and there are pictures on the wall of super dom holding two crocodiles in each hand by the tail......

Ok, ok...this is all just TOO confusing. Forget the story problems...can someone just spank me and make me count until I get confused and lose count?

Much better, whew!

NG you have suddenly started being VERY SILLY.

This is not realistic.

Everyone knows there is no such thing as a Swiss Croc. You are confused with Swiss Choc. Or maybe Swiss Cheese.

Disappointed!VC

It was on BBC news last week....it followed the story of the fox who won £10 million on the lottery....

All right...go on then.....there are no crocs in Switerland.....a slight embelishment granted...the rest of it though was spot on....

Dearly beloved, we gather here to honor the life of "YLAB, NAD."  Curiously, when it entered this world, it was given the full name of  "You're looking a boyfriend, not a Dom."  The OP was evidently so excited, with less than 10 posts, that he forgot to include the word "for."

After only 13 pages, we have come to appreciate its attempts to give us a chuckle and some insight.  It had a much, much shorter life than its far distant relative "Tap... tap.... tap, tap."  And, of course, that famous string started with a totally different "take" on CM and where it wanted to go.  But in some sense, "YLAB, NAD" did have the "Tap, tap" (if I may be familiar) weirdness with posters trying to help and others trying hard not to laugh as they mocked the string (and sometimes certain posters doing both.)  But in the end, the OP abandoned this thread and it never really made it to even string status, where "Tap...tap" went from thread to string to rope to cable.

Let this be a lesson to us all..... OPs that abandon their strings will see them die a quiet, de-railed, thread-jacked, useless life.

We thank it for the understanding of the CM site that it gave us.  We must not forget the humor it gave us. And, of course, we must not forget the humour it gave our British cousins.

That said, we make the sign of [/thread]

May it rest in peace.

All are invited to a reception in the under-crofting.  We shall be serving "mix-n-pick," frozen grapes, and various parts of human bodies.  Those not into cannabilism are asked to refrain from making snide, snarky posts to those who are.  Beverages will be brandies and cups of tea.  Feel free to mix those.

*Reposted an old reply of mine on a different topic, because I don't have anything intelligent to say on this subject.*

Well, I've read through the profile and like so many other profiles on here, it just left me shaking my head.

So... you want a slave girl... good... nearly every male Dom on this site wants the same, join the club.

The thing that leaves me wondering on if you're going to find her though is this: why?

Why would a girl want to be your slave?
What do you have to offer her?
What makes you different than every other male Dom looking for the same thing as you are?

Why YOU and not the next guy?

You give no information whatsoever on what SHE is getting out of this, other than that she'll have the privilege of being your slave.

Hoorah!

If that's all a girl needed to beg a collar from a man then ANY man would do...
Seriously, it's not because you're looking for a slave that suddenly it becomes ALL about you.
Really... it doesn't become ALL about you until AFTER you've got that collar around her neck.

Prior to that, you are still courting a... WOMAN.
Not a slave, but a woman.

You are still trying to convince HER that you are the right guy for her.
That you're better than the next guy.
That you're different than the next guy.
That's YOU are going to make HER feel special.

If you can't do that, then sorry dude, she IS going to move on to the next guy who CAN make her feel special...

Might wanna think about that a little and make some adjustments to your profile...

More then anything I want to insult your intelligence, but clearly you have none.

Your mind is closed,
You allow yourself  nothing new to learn,
You are stagnant!

The words on your post show me how desperate you are to find and use, perhaps abuse some poor soul who has no experience or  the wisdom to know that what you seek is not going to sustain any type of long term emotional growth.

You are egg'zactly why I choose to standoffish and cautious, just another troll looking to abuse a person, using BDSM as a cover.

Yes. It's absolutely wrong, I think it's even more wrong than people wanting to spank the cute furry little bunny in your avitar hehe
