It does, thank you. How did you go about making sure the garage was sealed up well? I know our little garage isn't sealed very well, in the winter, you can feel cold air coming in from under the big wooden door. quote:
ORIGINAL: AlwaysLisa Hi, We have a portable that is used to cool the garage for the dogs. It does an admirable job. You just need to make sure the area you want to cool is well sealed, near a window for venting out hot air and that you remember to empty the condensation chamber. We empty ours in the evening, every day if we use the unit, it's water that builds up and drains into this little cup. I like the portable unit, because of just that..it's portable. A window unit requires something to steady it if you place it in a window, plus those kits are hard to get the seal perfectly air tight. If you knock a hole in the wall, then if for any reason you move, theres a hole in your wall, lol A standard two car garage is kept quite cool with the portable unit, we made sure the two doors had good seals on the bottom and the window is double paned. Hope that helps!
