I wanted to buy a Hitachi or something comparable, and so I was wondering if anyone has recommendations on such devices, it would be intended to be used on women for pleasure and sensation play, so input from them would be appreciated.

If you want one go with the Hitachi... they just seem to be more durable... the knock off's that I have seen never look the same and I have been told some of them have even shorted while being plugged into the wall and started a fire....

Anyway..... I will only caution you on one thing.... I have found that I cannot move as fast as a Hitachi... and the Orgasm can be AMAZING so I try not to use them.... personally I want to be the one giving the amazing orgasms and when nothing I can do can get the reaction that the Plug In Viberator gets I tend to have my reservations.

They were fun for the first few times we used it....... when she started looking forward to the Hitachi.... we started using it a LOT less.

I personally dislike the hitachi. I know quite a few women here that have voiced similar concerns about it's lack of flexibility and intensity. It's probably the best bet to ask your partner, not us.

I find Hitachi's really loud.

I *love* my Hitachi but I don't use it often. It *is* loud, which makes it difficult to use discreetly. But it can be used in many interesting ways if you don't have to worry about the sound thing. A little creativity with it can be quite...fulfilling.

the only thing that would worry me is that i have become too used to the effect it has on me now that i have been alone for so long. i limit myself to its use ...it is very intense .. but also.. using it alone it looses some of the surprise and turn on, so it too falls short without human interaction and becomes less than it can be....so i am saving that excitement for when i have someone to share that with. ( or TRY to :-) The torture of the hatahci in someone elses hands can be sooo delish! [8D]

Please take My advice.  Do not buy vibrators for a woman who has not had any input on the subject.  Women have varying sensitivities when it comes to sex toys.  What is great for one woman is going to feel like a jack hammer to somebody else.  If you don't know the level of clitoral sensitivity that your potential partner has, it's going to be a waste of money and you're just going to have to shop for something different anyway.

I've seen those some of the shops I go to, behind glass cases, what is the battery life, rechargeable batteries hold less charge over time or so I've been lead to believe, and does it have stregth settings as well?

I'm very much a fan of the hitachi, it's an incredibly powerful vibrator for very little money. But definitely get a hitachi, the knockoffs aren't as good. My exhaustive thirty second search has turned up one for $32.55 with free shipping. Some people complain about the lack of adjustability, that can be fixed with an additional speed controller for $20.56 . There are attachments for penetration for $11.95.   You can find fancier attachments but those cheap stiff ones will do a better job of transferring the vibrations and allow more pressure to be directed onto the g-spot.

It's one of those toys I keep in my bag and don't use to often but when I need it I'm glad it's there. I think it's way too intense (for most girls) to use regularly. It's great as a finisher and for forced orgasms. Certainly not foreplay.

My GIGI does have multiple settings, there is 5 different speed settings and then many intensity settings ranging from barely being able to tell its on to OMG I'M GONNA CUM NOW!

I have a hitachi, I have the attachements but i dont use it nearly as often as other toys.

Ive had several *coughs* dozens of toys over the...years *coughs again* and my favorites honestly are a small toy its about 3 inches long and less then an inch wide for clitoral and anal play that i got for free from adam and eve. It retails for about 4 bucks. and a gspot toy thats got about a bullet sized eggs at the top and is at most 6 inches long total. that i picked up for about 10 bucks.

Of all the toys Ive played with sybian aside they are my favorites,.

i have a Hitachi and really love it. Works much better than the knock-off i used to have. i also have the G-spot attachment for it and love that too. The vibrating eggs i had, eh, not so much. What works and what doesn't is highly individual though.
