I’ve always had a fantasy about an ‘instant-demand-Domme’.    It’s simple.  In a vanilla setting - say, in a bar or a restaurant, on a train, even on the street -  I walk past a woman and without any preamble, she says, ‘Come here.  Pick up my bags/call me a cab/get me a drink/’ . . . .

Wow - that would be so horny!

But . . . but . . . has any Domme got the nerve to do that?  Hmmm?   With much regret, reality imposed and I came to the conclusion that none would.  She'd have to be super-uber-ultra-Dommely to have the front to do that.  And there's the small matter of whether she'd even get a buzz out of doing that, anyway.

As a matter of interest, has any Domme here come anywhere near to doing something like that?  Would you, ever, given the desire plus, perhaps, a certain 'stimulant'?

Have you been talking to Kevin?

No.  Should I?  Is Kevin a seductive Domme with an imperious manner?

I've been called many, many things in my life, Lady Hib, but never once 'Sunny'.  Thank you!

Re-reading this thread reminded me of the point I made on page one.  I was at a BDSM event a few weeks ago and I saw a hot little piece of ass that I liked.  So I simply looked at him with predatory interest, assessing his body and not bothering to hide what I was doing.  He clearly responded with submission, so I growled in his ear and told him to get up on the table and present himself for my attentions.  After a bit of safety negotiation and some play, I discovered that while he was hot, there were some warning signs that being around him socially could become annoying in short order.

So basically I did this thing you are talking about.  And while I did get some momentary fun, it is entirely possible that I've opened myself up to more attention than I may want from someone I didn't take the time to screen carefully enough before demanding his submission.  And it won't have been worth it if it makes drama for me at future kink events.

In a nutshell, this is why I try not to exercise dominance casually over strangers.  Pre-screening is essential to avoid drama that I have neither time nor appetite for.  I am currently reminding myself that no hot piece of ass is worth the drama of grabbing at it and then finding out that it's attached to someone who may bother me later when I don't want to be bothered.

I think that's the key to it, Lady N.  Certain evaluations, though, can be made pretty swiftly.  If I were to see her avidly reading a copy of The Mail, for instance, I'd most likely not look at her a second time.  Beyond that sort of thing  . . . well, I suppose the risk is part of the whole fantasy.  'She' could be a bore, or she could be wildly exciting to my big head as well as to my small head.  But I admit that the chances are probably high that it could all end dismally.

I promised a thread on the idea of the growling-Amazon kind of Domme, didn't I?  Hmmm.  I think I need to ponder some more on that idea so that I can come up with something that doesn't look too obviously like a ouanque-thread.

Thing is, I did a brief evaluation.  It was clear that he at least shared some of my intellectual interests; I had briefly heard him discussing those topics with another person, albeit not in much depth or for very long.  So that was enough for me to make my move, but it still wasn't quite enough for me to decide later that this had perhaps been Not Such A Good Idea.  I shudder to think of the result if I'd done this with someone I didn't take the time to evaluate at all, eg, your hypothetical random stranger in a bus station.

There are some days where I've been wrapped up in 'absent minded professor' mode, assumed somebody was there to help or an employee and gotten them to do things and follow me around for a while. Then I become aware of my surroundings, look at them with a gaze of curious wonder and the spell is broken.

Last time it happened was at an airport. I asked some girl for directions; next thing I knew, we were both in one of the shops and she was holding a magazine I'd picked off the rack. I have little to no memory of the intervening time, just the conversational thread/topics I was pondering out loud.

During my student days I worked in a club on weekends, very loud music and this absolute adonis invited me with much yelling and shouting over the music for a coffee on Sunday, what can I say? What a body but how could that body function so well with so little brain cells... Longest cup of coffee in my life (40 minutes can seem like 40 days) and he had my phone number, oh I was ever so busy studying for exams...

The amount of time and energy it takes to disengage with someone whose interest you have knowingly encouraged can be quite considerable, unless you are willing to be flat out rude to people.  And if you are, that can create additional problems and drama for you down the road, especially in a small community.

Fantasies of instant D/s connections with sexy strangers aside, generally it's just not freakin' worth the annoyance factor when you realize that your impulsiveness just earned you a semi-stalker who is a massively boring PITA.

Just finished reading this thread and enjoy the different experiences/comments shared. Recently i was picking up a pizza and a Lady behind me in line out of the blue (never noticed her; was in line 2 minutes if that) said "buy me a pizza!"  this was before christmas and i was full of holiday cheer so added her tab to mine and left with nothing else said between us.  I'm unsure how i would respond at a different time or under differenct circumstances.

heh..I"ve seen this happen in Manhattan. A rich bitch type of woman leaving a ritzy hotel sees some regular Joe walking by, thinks he's the bellhop or something and demands he take her bags or in a restaurant, same thing, thinks he's the waiter.

She almost always gets a look, a laugh and he walks away leaving her with a bewildered "well I never!" look on her face lol.

Easy fix:
Do the push-pull routine, but in reverse. "Holy shit, I've had fun talking to you. But I've been doing all the talking/I've been doing all the flirting/I've been engaging you and I just don't have time for this. I mean you're cool and all that, but I'm not interested and it's not fair to you to keep chatting when you could be finding someone who's available, you know? No punch buggy, I've got to disengage now, don't hate me."

...Of course use your own words, that routine probably wouldn't make it out of your mouth in a straight line if you tried it. It may seem rude to get to the point like that, and sometimes it would be - but mostly, it's not rude at all, especially if you phrase it in the context of having wanked off with them with no happy ending, so it's time to stop so they can go find one.

If it turns into a 'friends' conversation, disengage anyway. Then if you really want to be friends and continue such awe inspiring conversational magic, wander back. But put some distance in first to reinforce the friends only motif.
