Ok..... My grandfathe passed away this March, and left behind my grandmother. They were married for over 50, and now she's all alone (well, about as alone as a person can be with 10 kids, and 7 of them living in the state, not to mention about a million grandkids). The house she lives in is not structurally safe, and she lives in a neighborhood that isn't safe at all. Admittedly, she is moving into an apartment building designed specifically for seniors, but i still worry about her. I went to visit her today, and she was talking to herself. I think she gets lonely, and i worry about her. I think that's it. I just needed to voice my concerns to someone (or in this case, someones) other than my family, who are all feeling this way, i'm sure.

litleone...its so hard when your grandparents get old ,and you want to help them so much...I know, I was in the same place...just be there for her, visit her often and let her know that you are there for her.

My Poppy just passed away as well and left my nana I worry about her as well they wre together 50 years I know the feeling we are trying to get her to move back to NY right now she is in arizona

I only really know 2 of mine, both of my moms parents passed away early, my grandfather before I was born and my grandmother when I was 13 but since I was in england and she was in nebraska the last time I saw her was when I was 5ish.

I have lost all of mine now. The last was my dad's mom....demitia had a firm hold by then was hard seeing that.
