        I'd like to complain that whoever picks out the tunes at my local gym has to be a total asshole.  For the last few weeks, TreSwank has delved into the hyper-masculine, testosterone-fueled, homoerotically charged world of weightlifting, and he's not too pleased with SOMEBODY'S musical selection.  I believe that the last thing someone wants to listen to while pounding out the final agonizing reps of a set of squats is "Hips Don't Lie".  If they've absolutely GOT to play the soft stuff, as opposed to aggressive, upbeat music, perhaps superior-quality, catchy 80's pop would fit the bill better than Shakira or Kelly Clarkson.  I mean, even though I'd rather hear Pantera any day of the week, I wouldn't mind jamming out to Olivia Newton John's "Physical" while doing some dumb-bell chest presses.

Treswank needs to get into the 90's .........no the 00's now, my how I have lost track of time.....and get electronical, an Ipod or a portable CD player, then Treswank can listen to Move This by Technotronic, Pout by Sheena Easton, Simply the Best by Tina Turner, and so on.........They ooze the Testie weightlifting germs.

The technology exists, but it is slowly being replaced by the whine, not so?

I could, indeed, bring my own music to the gym, but the mere thought that someone deemed Jessica Simpson or Hillary Duff to be gym worthy musicians is worth bitching about. Even though I'm fully aware of the fact that "everybody has their own opinion" and I can't impose my personal tastes on everyone else, I kind of wish I could.  Actually, I really, really, really, really, wish that I could pass laws that would ban the playing of shitty music at venues containing more than two people.  "Who the hell are you to tell ME what to listen to?" some folks might ask.  If TreSwank were Grand Totalitarian Ruler of Planet Earth, you'd turn off the shitty music because you were damn well told to...............that's why!  No more whiny-ass, "That's just your opinion, and you should ignore what you don't like."

Taking that vein, I can't say I can find a great deal of disagreement....since you have been lifting weights, why not go to the front desk with whips in hands and say which one of you fuckwads is the Julie London freak?

That may give them incentive to lose the Liberace, Ja?

okay. . . go to your toolbar that collarme gives you, in between the typing field and the font controls, there is an "insert link" button.(looks like a globe with chains)  It will bring up a window, just type the web address.


Copy/paste has always worked for me.
