Had you or panda read the bit of the article which I quoted youd have known that the governor of Wyoming is describing his states financial problems in the present tense, and referred to Obama by name. Which tells you how this governor is using the country's economic woes to push forward developing this land. I wonder, who stands to profit from developing this land and how they are connected to the governor? Since this has been going on for many years, it stands to reason that there is a much larger story under the surface, like developers wanting to get their claws on public lands...

If Rex wants to blame the current economy on Reagan or Eisenhower thats his prerogative I suppose. Theres no sense in my trying to argue with anyone who is determined to live in a state of denial, is there.

Which actually might be sorta cool, if you think about it. I must admit that the prospect of a Rightard Rushmore is one of the very few things that would lead me to commit vandalism.
