Ok...so I love being dominant...I mean, seriously love it.

I love the power, the authority...just...everything about it really.

But recently, I've had these thoughts of being dominated by an (ex) sub...

This is weird for me because, usually, I hate being told what to do. Someone says "do this" or "do that" and I tend to do the opposite out of principle.

So, could I just be a sub in denial? or am I just curious about the sub lifestyle but not actually wanting to practice it? or am I truly a switch?

Anyone else here had any similar experiences/thoughts?

These 'thoughts of being dominated by an ex'....

Were they where she was spanking/flogging/clamping/etc. pain-play sorts of dominating, or were they more of the 'this is what I want you to do to please me' sorta things?

If it was the former, you have fantasies of bottoming, which to many people wouldn't necessarily make you a submissive. A little switch-y perhaps.

You can either answer that question here for more dialog, or to yourself to help you understand yourself better.

Well...I'm not a big fan of pain on myself (maybe the odd spank :P), but no it wasn't that, it was more being chained to a chair and being used, having her do whatever she wanted with me...

Seeing as how you have experience at being a Dom, and nothing more than fantasies of being a sub I'd label you "switch curious". I once asked a woman to spank me and we both found out that she didn't like topping, and I didn't like bottoming.

Go ahead and try it and see. Until then your proper label remains in doubt!
