Let's see here... a sub asking for sympathy and validation. *Opens "How-to-be-nice-to-subs-you-dont-know-for-dummies" reference book.*

Ahh, there it is:

"It's alright, man! You don't have to consent to anything you don't want to do."

There, how'd I do?

[sm=popcorn.gif]

Mmm, popcorn.

Why the disparity?

Because it's a fantasy a lot of men but few women have. Findommes exist because there's a market for them. I suspect findoms don't because women don't sexualise the exchange of money in the same way.
I believe this is correct. If you look at the number of (hetero) female vs male prostitutes/ escorts/etc, it's not even close to even, largely because the 'market' is very skewed. Relatively few women are willing to pay compared to the number of men who will. Financial domination seems to run along those same lines, and I think that VC nailed the reason nicely.

Well then you're pretty easily pleased.

Those women don't give a fuck what you think. You don't mean anything to them at all. What are you expecting to achieve with this thread?

I can't speak for him but I see his point.

Browse the red profiles.

There has been an amazing influx of "online only, tribute required" profiles.

My guess is they account for at least 50% of the ads.

I was amazed at the number, myself.  I often see them on the login screen, and I've seen a big stash of them in the journals.  They're almost always 18-24 years old, and address the subs as "worms".  Amazon gift cards seem to be the most popular items.

BambiBoi -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/25/2010 6:10:12 PM)

More on point, I will be a financial domme if anyone wants <3

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/25/2010 7:22:39 PM)

As will I, Bambi!! But I think Peon should do the work, he is the one who volunteered!! I will do the hot bewbage pics, you can handle the leg and ass shots!

This is SUCH a good idea, wish it wasn't just a pipe dream!![:D]

subanthony2010 -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/25/2010 7:44:33 PM)

There are a lot of those Financial Mistresses but you know you can have a lot of fun with them without paying them money, just use your imagination and keep your credit card away from the PC.  I like when they contact me, I smile and think, it is time for some mental fun with the new prey.  So I enjoy them but they don't enjoy me too much.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/25/2010 7:45:35 PM)

It baffles me that they go after people! But of course most men are not going to follow through anyway, so maybe they have to.

Oh, I know they exist. I just don't see the point of bitching about them. What they do is their business-nobody is forcing anyone to interact with them, and whining about them just makes the OP look unattractive.

This place is what it is. The OP can either suck it up or move somewhere else.

Well yes, there is a point bitching about them.

I understand this is a free site but we have moderators on theses boards but only an automated reporting system on the other side.

There are so many scammers on here that I don't even bother anymore.  I just stick to the boards.

Oh sweet J - 'worm'  . . .  that word . . . .

I think I could handle most of the feelings a Domme might cause in me, but not cringing embarrassment.

See, Lady Hib?  I could certainly be a better findomme than that sort of pinhead, anyway.

We'd make more money if we were to have voice contact with the punters.  How are you at Brit accents?  Are we talking Gwyneth Paltrow in Sliding Doors or are we talking more Dick Van  Dyke in Mary Poppins?

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/25/2010 7:56:37 PM)

There isn't anything that the mods can do---it's a FREE site, that means that the pros have the same rights on the other side as anyone. Being a pro or findom doesn't make someone a scammer. There ARE scammers galore, too, but can you imagine the workload screening for them would be? While they are doing that, can they screen for married men who are lying about their status? Or how about for wankers who never intend to leave their houses?

Zero sum game.

My profile says Im taken and married, and not looking, I get several emails asking me if they can send me their money, one who said he didnt even want to meet me, just wanted to put money in my paypal account.
so the kink is out there and not going away, so just block delete and carry on like the rest of us do. You want your needs met, what is wrong with other people getting theirs met.

Because it is a scam Lucy.

I've seen pictures on profiles here lifted from porn sites I've browsed.

Some dumbass even had pictures of Cameron Diaz on their profile.

Twoshoes -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/25/2010 8:06:18 PM)

Have you considered how you will be dividing the spoils of your pipe dream endeavour?
Maybe set up some imaginary business structure?

Or maybe it is because some men are so pathetically desperate that they fall for the bullshit.

If you read these ads the majority of them make promises that there will be a real relationship after someone "proves" themselves through tribute.

Um...next time this happens to you...send them by way before blocking and deleting!  I will take care of them for you. [:D]

Hillwilliam -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/25/2010 8:28:32 PM)

Just report the profile as a scammer, stfu and move on.

Why report them?  What makes them a scammer?  If someone chooses to engage into a financial relationship with one of these women and both parties are getting what they want from the relationship, where is the scam?

As far as the OP is concerned; if you don't want to participate in this kind of relationship, then don't.  Isn't that simple enough?  Why whine about something you have no control over?

SubPet715 -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/26/2010 1:22:02 AM)

Sometimes it just happens, just now I got a message from someone half way across the world, they called me worm and demanded I put money into their paypal.

The delete message button is very convenient, I guess you're just fed up with it but however long you have been a sub this should just be expected. I know the feeling well, its disappointing and somewhat disparaging but chin up, the sun comes up another day.

jujubeeMB -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/26/2010 5:44:06 AM)

It always amazes me when someone complains about how many "fakes" there are on here, and how frustrating it is wading through the "fakes" to find someone real. I must admit, I didn't read the site description when I joined, but I'm pretty sure there wasn't a clause that guaranteed compatible partners delivered to your doorstep. I'm pretty sure we all have to work at it, by determining compatible goals/interests, bidding a polite goodbye to those who don't fit our needs, and continuing the search. You don't just get to choose the girl with the hottest ass and click "relationship."

Also, for the love of god, stop searching only for 20-year-old porn stars. If someone looks like they might be in high fantasy-land demand, they're probably going to charge you for the privilege. And I don't really blame them.

slavekal -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/26/2010 6:58:54 AM)

I totally agree with the OP.  Since Princess Sierra started this financial domme thing, a ton of women see a way to score easy money.  I don't mind if they just set up a website and go for it.  But when they muddy up a personals site, it can be quite frustrating.

lobodomslavery -> RE: Financial Domme's?Yea right (8/26/2010 7:54:39 AM)

Im with this guy 110%. Submission is NOT and NEVER was about giving all your money to a Domme or even a large percentage of it. Submission is about SERVICE. Something which the self -aggrandising Dommes here and they know who they are seem to be oblivious to
