Epilators are the tool of the devil. I still have a row of scars on my lower leg from my singularly awful attempt.

LOL! Camille, I remember coming across that journal entry years ago. I laughed until I cried!

i do have to own up to plucking a lot of the pubs but like ohers said i kind of like it. dont do it all as it takes too long but the effect is better.

Definitely waxing, after you have been at it for a few months, the hair hardly grows back, it becomes sparser and sparser, plus the hair is really downy and fine, in the end tweezers will suffice to keep you bare, the pain isn't really that bad, I mean you get used to it

I ruined my epilator... I got a clit piercing and once was not careful, it hurt, a lot, the epilator did not survive the meeting it had with the wall.

Sorry, I draw the line at bare.  Shaving just results in a rashy mess of painful bumps, no matter what I use.  The creams burn my skin, and I'm not even going to consider waxing......I keep myself trimmed, and if that's not good enuf, tough.  And I only do it when I'm involved with someone.  Besides, it just looks waaaaay to creepy to me.....I'll never understand what people see in it.

It's bad enuf that I have to shave my legs.....at least guys can grow a beard!

This works, as long as you stick to the instructions.

I guess tastes differ, but I have a dislike for body hair, I am more accepting about it on others (within reason, the Brazilian rain forest is only attractive as the lung of the planet), but on my body, nope, don't want hair there, ugly, horrid, can't stand it. Luckily as a redhead I am not too hairy anyway, but if anybody would force me to let it grow, I'd be one hell of an unhappy person...

OUCHIE!!!! I'd be at it forever. [:D]  Just tweezing my eyebrows sets me to sneezing and having to blow my nose constantly.

lev -> RE: Hair Removal Methods? (11/22/2010 1:55:30 PM)

i got a professional waxing kit from Sally. The wax warmer was about 30.00. the warmer plus the wax and the strips cost less than one brazilian.  i love it. i don't have pain issues from waxing.

I personally like to shave with a cocoa butter body wash.... I've been using the cheapo suave stuff with happy results.

playfulotter -> RE: Hair Removal Methods? (11/23/2010 1:51:10 PM)

My method is shaving. I use the Gillette Mach III turbo handle and blades and edge gel for sensitive skin...Standing up I put my left leg as high up on the shower wall in front of me as I can safely for shaving under the leg of  the right side and vice versa. I kind of lean my shoulder against the wall of the shower to steady myself.....it is easy after you do it a few times!

lapgirl -> RE: Hair Removal Methods? (12/2/2010 4:09:15 AM)

i prefer to shave , no pain involved! Using "coochie cream" is also helpful, guards against those nasty bumps that so many of us can get. After reading about using the hair conditioner though, i wonder if they have similar ingredients.
