What did she expect? BoBo is a representative of the banking cartels. Nothing is going to change in Washington. The next president will be another Wall St. shill too.

I'm waiting for the first elected tea-party candidate to vote for the next bailout - which they will.

I'm sure that the next cries of "support exhaustion" will be coming from those quarters then.

He has failed, as socialism always does.
As a result, he's not just losing but bleeding Dimocrats.

Hilary is looking at the door cracking open.

I couldn't possibly add anything to that, it speaks volumes all by itself.

Yet here you are again, adding to your post count, without adding anything to the topic.

No thoughts at all on the sort of burnout and loss of faith in President Obama's base, evidenced by this woman's remarks?

C'mon, just one little tiny thought? Or is that too much for you?

There's one of big demagogic words again...socialism. Trouble is, you like all others, can't actually pinpoint where that socialism actually is.

We do know where 'capitalism' has brought us and as expected...to the brink of disaster and for whom a massive robber baron-like infusion of public money...we just 'had' to turn wall street in fact...into the richest 'socialists' in the world.

Those on the right on this country should be (and many are) exhausted by defending their leader's own for-profit policies.

Yes, I have plenty of thoughts about it.

Primarily that expectations were too high.

People like this woman somehow believed that he was going to accomplish miracles and fulfill their every dream, but they ignore what he has actually accomplished.

While I wouldn't be surprised if she were a clever plant by the grand old party, I highly doubt they're anywhere near clever.

As has been said above: "What's their message now? 'We pledge if you vote for us we won't spend money like the Pentagon on crack.' Fucking alcoholics and junkies make pledges like that. And we're supposed to believe them again?"

This is my general sentiment towards Washington and my vote for Obama was the last bit of hope I really had that the system could easily recover from the inside out.  Now I more frequently and seriously think that a complete and systematic replacement of every legislator, executive, and judicial officer in high offices is what's necessary for true recovery to take place.  The most obvious (and I'd like to say cinematically attractive) choice is a full-scale constitutional rebellion, but that risks even more incompetents getting into the works, so I'm dumbfounded.

Here's hoping some good fellows get in before everything falls apart at the seams.

Here's hoping you've learned not to vote on hope anymore but, rather, on substance.

I am sure all expectations now will be way too high because I am sure that as he was getting close to the dem nomination, the bankers and wall street told Obama the same thing they told Reagan and the rest since...if you want our money to run then here is what you will do...to stay alive.

Ownership of GM is quite enough.

That pretty much leaves out voting, then.

I thought it was back at the W bailout, in this case (the GM case), we have some collateral to show for our investment.
The first is socialism, this is good business, we don't want the heathen chinee supplying our tank and armoured personell carriers and so on.

McCain and Palin would have provided more substance?

McCain changes his mind on every issue to conform to the direction the political wind is blowing and Palin is.........well..........Palin.

Who set those expectations too high? Obama and the mainstream-media bamboozled people like that woman into believing he was the end all to end all, and an ever-increasing majority of them have since realized the big mistake they made.

"If you have no record to run on, you paint your opponent as someone to run from." -- Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro, 2008 DNC Nomination acceptance speech.

This thread is about an Obama supporter taking him to task on his record, and you paint his former opponents as people to run from.

Obama taught you well.

So I guess Bush was also a socialist since he started the GM bailout by using TARP funds after Congress refused to step in.

You know, that Democrat-controlled socialist Congress.
