I really did.

Sarah Palins reality show was on last night, and I did my best to sit through an episode.  Unfortunately, I didn't make it.

It reminded me of the old sitcoms, where the actors were shouting in high volumes, as if the louder they were, the funnier they were.   Her husband was fairly quiet, even when he spoke.

I lost the battle when she started on about how nature is always right.  I had flashbacks to her wolf "hunts", shooting animals as they flee in panic with a high powered rifle, from an airplane.  Yeh, just as nature intended.

I don't think I will be a fan.

~Fast Reply~

I really have never been impressed with her. I don't think she's nearly as bad as the media makes her out to be but I'm really not impressed. The only one in that family I'm even remotely interested in is Bristol because I feel for her, having a baby out of wedlock in a conservative family.

Watch Ice Road Truckers or Deadliest Catch.

At least you tried.  That is more than I would ever do.  Somthing about her makes me sick to my stomach.

Sub, really? I get that same feeling everytime I see Oblunder or Pelosi on the t.v.!

Arpig -> RE: I tried (11/25/2010 10:04:26 AM)

That must be because you are a moderate...but you'll never know I said that[:D]

That was something else...it's as if she is over compensating with Bristol, trying to show the viewers how accepting and supportive they are, but taking it a bit far.  Too many references during the program were made about how they are an all american family, doing all american things.  That, and the merciless tabloids, who painted them in a bad light.  I felt as if the show was a thinly vieled political commercial, without mentioning too much in the way of politics.

Watching for 15 min, seeing how her daughters interact...I would say the youngest needs some of moms attention.   Maybe she isn't thrilled with the camera's in her face all the time, but whatever the reason, there was a bit of anger coming from Willow.

They do it to me also...in fact, now that I think about it, I can not think of one politician that didn't make me sick in the past few years.  Only difference is some elicit a mild churning in the gut, some projectile vomiting.  (ok slight exageration)

Do either of them have a ridiculous reality show?

This truly astounds me how people can take someone seriously as a Presidential candidate who does something like this.

It truly amazes me how conservatives are losing all sense of dignity.

Maybe we can look forward to the "executive experience" Bristol gained on Dancing With The Stars and we can have a mother-daughter ticket.

Palin is not a "Presidential candidate", except in the fevered imagination of the left's minds.

Obama and Pelosi have had their own "reality" TV show for a while now.

Yes, damn those liberals websites pushing Sarah for President.

Just a small sampling of what you can find.  I guess it's only the "liberal" tea party members and right wingers who think she is worthy of being President.

KatyLied -> RE: I tried (11/25/2010 2:49:11 PM)

I feel sorry for the children.  What sort of childhood can you have with cameras shoved in your face.  Bad parenting.  The family is media whorish.

And really, aside from the fact that the political theater is a handy venue, politics really has nothing at all to do with that.

You have a link to her announcement as a candidate?

Didn't think so.

Your dear Firm are a laugh riot.

Let's not back track now.  Your "suggestion"  was that Palin is not a Presidential candidate except to a few left wingers who want to keep throwing her up to try an make fun of Republicans.

You can quickly find tea party and right wingers who are either begging her to run or already consider her a candidate.

Has she officially declared?  Nope none of the likely candidates have yet.  But your assertion that she is not a candidate except to a few liberals who keep wanting to throw her name up is obviously untrue.  Part of her base not only thinks of her as a candidate but think she has already won the Republican primary.

Try being man enough to own what you say.

There is a difference between attempting to convince someone to run (the sites you linked to), and claiming that she is running (what you did).

Own it yourself, big guy.

flcouple2009 -> RE: I tried (11/25/2010 6:55:08 PM)

You my dear sir are hilarious.  Are you considering taking this on the road as a one man show?

Do you remember making this statement?

Palin is not a "Presidential candidate", would have been a true statement.

When you added, EXCEPT(my emphasis) in the fevered imagination of the left's minds, you went wrong.

You would say that the people who are sporting "Palin 2012" bumper stickers and T-shirts don't believe she is a candidate?  The tea party members and right wingers who are already raising campaign money don't believe she is a candidate?

Have you missed the excerpts from her upcoming ABC interview or just ignoring them?

When Palin herself is making comments about "seriously considering running" it changes the way you view what she does.  You start looking at the things she does as exposure and ground work for a campaign.  Or do you not believe her own words mean anything?

You tried to take what you thought as a jab at liberals.  Man up, stop playing your silly  word games, and just own what you say.

Do you know how?

Of course she will be.

Do you honestly think she is doing all this for any other intention?

A weak analogy.

If you want to say that you can say the same about Palin.

But Obama and Pelosi haven't descended to appearing on tabloid television.

He's actually a supporter of the Republican Washington establishment that demands to keep taxes low for the rich, everyone for that matter, and drive the country into insolvency or bankruptcy. He supports Jim DeMint because he thinks he's a real conservative but the truth is Mr. DeMint is really part of the Washington establishment and doesn't want real change. DeMint pretended he wanted change to get reelected so he presented himself as a tea party person fed up with Washington but the truth is he's really for tax cuts for the rich and put your foot on the pedal spending money making private companies especially your friends rich until you bankrupt the country.

I tried too but I could only take her for three minutes and then I had to change the station. In the future if I want to learn anything about Alaska I will use National Geographic or Google Earth, anything but that woman.
