*counting shekkles...*  sigh.

All right.  I think we ought to discuss sexism instead of racism down the way.  *Just a thought*...

ETA:  It's like she's the sister of that dude who is rude to everyone but is ever so accomodating to Lady Pact.  Oh heck, maybe they're the same person.  [:o]

Geez.. I knew my pic wasnt the most flattering, but it's been years since I was mistaken for a guy....

sexyred1 -> RE: FEMALE SUB LOOKING FOR MENTOR IN KANSAS (12/20/2010 7:46:14 AM)

Don't worry about it GT, no one would mistake you for a guy. [;)]

Thank you.

I was being quite serious with my reply/welcome to you. First impressions, especially on this board, are lasting and rather important. It's also best to try your best to not assume anything...be it copyright laws or gender.

By posting a photo that wasn't a true representation of who you are, you're being dishonest with anyone who chooses to write to you. There are more than enough folks like that on here...bottom feeders who pretend to be something/someone they aren't. Why would you want to be part of that crowd?

For the record....I own the chair in my photo and it does, in many ways, represent who I am and what I'm about. Get creative....in an honest way....and you'll be surprised at how far it will take you.

DeeDee, welcome to CM. I think you will enjoy it much more if you stop fawning over those you perceive to be men and dissing the women. Many of the posters are trying to give you the same message, but you are treating them differently based on what gender you think they are (and you have been wrong several times.)

why don't you pay attention poise? and live up to your name. i don't need any
more hateful comments. if i did i could get them at home. Lol. dd

Just a gentle reminder dd, I have made no insulting comments to you here, nor
in my response to the email you sent me. In fact, I was more than cordial.

number two: i never claimed they were me.

And speaking of your email to me, you know, the one where you claimed it was a picture of you?[:-]
It's really hard to keep a story straight when there is no truth in it.

Mods will show up as Moderators or Admin, they're volunteers, do this all on their own time, hence the meaning of volunteer and do a hella job monitoring this site. May I suggest you take the time to read the TOS, the section guidelines before posting in any forum and don't forget the FAQ's. It'll help you out in the long run.

Two, you jumped on the "woe is me" bandwagon in no time at all, and you were rude to everyone but the women (shoulda read) MEN , and the replies you did get were trying to be helpful. Learn the word.

Thanks for catching that Sunshine, very much appreciated.

I can't believe I missed this thread - it's got the lot! Stroppiness by a newbie, insults being chucked around by said newbie before the end of page one, Mod posting, then a teddy exiting a pram at barely subsonic speeds ... so I go to click on her profile to see what all the fuss is about and ... "profile not found". No fair! :(

I love coffee but I can't drink tea - it doesn't agree with me (thus bringing into line with so many people [;)])

I think I'll have a glass of wine this evening though ... seems odd drinking chilled white when it's so cold but there we are ...

GreedyTop -> RE: FEMALE SUB LOOKING FOR MENTOR IN KANSAS (12/20/2010 10:06:52 AM)

wine works too :)
