i have to agree with DesFIP. of course the desire has always been there, to just give up control and let someone else take on the responsibilities, but its who it is for me that really makes me want to submit. just the way Master makes me feel, makes me want to do any and everything i can to make him happy.

i don't need motivation or inspiration of some sort in order to submit. i submit because it is just who i am, that is my default natural reaction to the world around me.

But there are things he can do to push that desire into overdrive. Are you looking for things that will make a stranger want to submit, or things that might make the woman you are with feel all warm and fuzzy?

I am a submissive personality. It's who I am but I'm also aware that i can't submit to everyone and everything in life or otherwise I'd be walked all over and taken advantage of so I reign myself in. I submit to Master though because I love and trust him and I can let go and just surrender without any worries. I submit to him specifically because of his personality. We fit together well and I'm attracted to him and he has a dominant personality that matches my submissive personality.

I've only ever wanted to submit to Alpha. It's because of who he is, and because I love him and want to please him.

Nothing makes me want to submit in all honesty. I fell in love with a man that is Dominant and I had to decide if I was willing to be in a relationship with him and submit to him. I decided that he was worth it and he is and thankfully he is not high protocol type D, and he understands that even though I am okay with him being in charge, he is also ok with me maintaining my own autonomy. For us it extends far beyond kink, and that is what I struggled with. So I guess wanting him, needing that man, made me need to change my thoughts on things, and that is why I wanted to overcome my objections to submitting. I don't regret it. I think that when someone is worth it then it makes it worthwhile because it certainly has enriched my life. I love him with all my heart and he loves me so the struggle was worth the outcome.

The thing that makes me want to submit is when I am with someone who brings out that side in me. I am not a naturally submissive woman; although I have had the desires since childhood. I was at my most intensely submissive when I was madly in love with someone who helped create the choregraphy that we could dance to.

The word for me I think is balance. If one would see me they not would not considerate me submissive. And I do not offer my gift of submissiveness to just anyone. It is in steps with me and if the trust is there and I do get to know the Domme in time, yea ,a trigger goes off and I am wanting to be on my knees. And like someone says it balances themselves out and I would have to agree. Kind of clears my head out for some reason and the air is a bit more sweet and engaging.

In general, there are certain cues that Ive picked up on in certain lovers and would be lovers that made me want to submit to them. As far as submission being part of my nature, it's usually not. I don't submit to people in terms of my opinion and I don't let other people make decisions that effect my career or my happiness. I'm very take charge in a lot of aspects of my life, and that's what makes me want to submit. I need a balance to keep myself on an even keel. I handle a lot of stuff and have a lot of pressure going on so to be able to give some things up to another person is very freeing and satisfying.

True submission is a heart thing to be sure, but a little exploration will soon reveal that mindless submission is foolish! You'll NEVER FIND PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO TAKE! Submitting out of respect, or in exchange for good favor, or to gratify one's self makes sense, but like everything else in this life: YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY!

my first M made me want to submit because of his character and who he was. a lot of what really motivates me has to do with the PERSON, not a self-ascribed role.

I agree it has more to do with the person, not a title. Someone who is stronger than myself, not muscle strong. The stronger will. And yes the teeth on the back of the neck, lol. Happy New Year All

What makes me want to submit? The feeling it gives me. I feel safe when submitting and while it is likely that I tend to be too easily submissive to the general populace I've come to understand that is just who I am. And like most people living a life that exemplifies who they are, this is the best life for me to live. By living the life that feels right, I am happier and healthier. A bit like working in a job that you love, it just helps bring all the pieces of a happy life together.
