Yup ------------------ sweet potato casserole without sugars, warm spices or marshmallows! Simply mashed garnet sweet potatoes with plenty of fresh farm butter, sea salt and some pepper. Topped with pan butter toasted pecans and baked until hot and crisp (a Christmas side dish)

Take out the sea salt and sure. Sounds really good...I think I'll make that for tomorrow's side dish. Fried plantains with sour cream on the side

Sure without the sour cream ----------------------------- braised carrots, fennel, onions and garlic. Braised in homemade chicken stock with salt, a tsp of sugar and no pepper (add it after as it mucks up the natural taste of the veggies) yes, another Christmas side dish [:D]

yum ------------------ roasted green beans with coarse crunchy sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, done to a lightly golden caramelised finish. (what is it with sea salt anyway?) I am making these tomorrow. Just stopped on way home from work for some fresh hericot vert.
