I thought this was a really cool OP. I don't believe "ignorance is bliss" but I do believe bliss can be a result of ignorance, and I don't think that's always a bad thing. I think the OP was a case of unintended consequences, which had a happily surprising ending. And they talked about it and learned from each other, so, go them. It does go to show how people can be so differently affected by the same act. Like Lady Pact said, this is why "How do I humiliate my slave" threads really can't be responded to, other than by saying, "Get to know what kinds of things humiliate your slave." My little story is when Daddy locked me in the closet for awhile - we both predicted I would feel a degree of humiliation and objectification. The result is that I relaxed into a most content and meditative state, totally safe and of a calm spirit. When he opened the door some time later, I had this la la la happy look on my face, which cracked him up. An enjoyable unintended consequence, based on our ignorance of what the outcome would be. Who knew?
